Yesterday the Live Nation website published a new list of tourdates implying without actually announcing that Madonna would be resuming her Sticky & Sweet World Tour this Summer. Almost as soon as the dates went online they were pulled off the site. Today, Madonna.com has been updated with the following message:

Madonna 2009 European Tour
2009-01-27 15:05:51
The rumors are true! Madonna will tour Europe this summer.
Stay tuned for details later this week.
This is great news for fans in Europe (and possibly the far East) who were unable to see her Sticky & Sweet Tour the first time around (or just want to see it again). No other information has been made available at this point … there’s no way of knowing what, if any, changes will be made in the show or with the setlist. After the jump, check out the full list of tourdates that were posted online yesterday but were immediately taken down — see if Maddy is bringing her tour to YOUR city this Summer …

I skipped this tour and am kicking myself..HARD. There is nothing that this woman has done that I don’t know about hahah….still, Hard Candy was a pretty bad and bland album. Fun, but bad. I miss the Erotica and Bedtime Stories days very much. A boy can dream…
ooooh i hope she stops in the US for a few dates!
Not sure how I feel about her resuming the tour. I saw the show in LA and thought it was amazing… even with half her stage missing, which incidently didn’t make much of a difference to me! But I just feel she should leave it and move onto new projects.
Before you know it, it’ll just be Cher’s Farewell Tour all over again! PLUS am assuming this delays the DVD release!!??!!!!
Boo to the delay on dvd release if true!!!
I went to see it in Las Vegas but got to drunk to focus, hung out with my brother and some classic Madonna Wannabes. I would totally pay again to see her.
I’m not a fan of the styling of this Madonna phase.
I will totally go and see her!! I live in Norway, so the tour that she had in the US ment nothing to me, since I couldn’t go see her anyway.. I was hoping for this!! =)
i would hate it if this delays the DVD…considering I actually went to the concert where the DVD was filmed…I need to see if I’m on it (yeah right) at my gayest when a friend I went with left me alone in a sea of men dancing Vogue, Music and Into the Groove…I can’t even begin to imagine how I must look on that footage…I was completely unconscious at the moment, not to mention sweaty, teary eyed and screaming my head off because of how close to the stage I was…
damn, i am so jelous that she is coming to helsinki!! its such a beautiful city and she will be there and i am stuck in vienna . pfffffffffffff
woooooow am coming madonnaaaaaaa yeeehaaaaaaaaaa
This is very good news as Madonna hasn’t been to Australia since 1992! About bloody time I say!
I caught her in San Diego on election night and it was magic! All I can say now is Dublin or London here I come!!!!!!!!
