Xtina Aguilera’s ‘Clockwork’ Birthday

'Orange' you glad she's got a sense of style and great taste?
December 19th, 2008

Xtina Aguilera and hubby Jordy Bratman stepped out on the town last night in celebration of Xtina’s 28th birthday … and the couple did so dressed up like a couple of droogs from the classic film A Clockwork Orange. Here are pics of the couple all dolled up in thier fun costumes:

I understand that Xtina and Jordy met up with Nicole Richie and others at Mozart Pizza for an impromptu birthday celebration … which I guess had a pretty strict dress code. As odd as the pair look all dressed up like characters from A Clockwork Orange, I can’t really hate on them because that film is one of my all-time fave films and I’m impressed that they seem to be as well. I really never pegged Xtina as the type of devotchka to be into the ultraviolence but I salute her creativity and her nod to the masterpiece film by Stanley Kubrick which was based on the even more impressive book by Anthony Burgess. Happy 28th, Xtina … looks like your bday celebration was real horrorshow.

YES!! I LOVE this!!! I love A Clockwork Orange! I’ve never really been a Christina fan..but this makes me kind of like her!! WOOO!

  2. DJWhoop Says:

doesn’t she look like this all the time?

  3. Diana Says:

AWESOME! HAPPY B’DAY XTINA, WE LOVE YOU! :)

  4. A Says:

I love that film too – but the whole dressing up things still screams ‘I’m ripping off Lady Gaga!!’

  5. Mark Says:

Kylie Minogue pulled off this look in 2002 on her Fever2002 tour… much better.

Christina Aguilera recycling factory hard at work!

  6. Oh Well Says:

Christina is trying too hard for some attention! Gee, hook up with a really good record producer Christina, you can sing, but your songs, they never stick, so if you want to stay relevant, sing a catchy song, not an ear splitting vocal calistinics song, nobody can really sing with you.

  7. JHop Says:

She’s only 28? Damn, girl. That spray tan hasn’t been doing you any favors.

  8. David Says:

Absolutely fantastic, Christina! She’s sooooo fun.
As for the gaggag comparisons, I want her to start wearing exactly every outfit that stupid ugly, whore wears, just to piss you fools off. She’ll look a million times hotter and have way better songs and send that joker back to Yonkers.
Christina does not need to back away from that gag-tard, she should stomp all over whatever that ho does, if that’s what she wants to do…which she doesn’t, but I’d love for her to, just to tick the haterz off.

Christina looks cute! And Christina isn’t copying anyone. She has thrown parties where she is dressed up as a naughty nurse (her bachelorette party), a circus performer (some Halloween party), etc. She has said her family goes all out with parties and in one of her MTV Diary specials her family makes a haunted house in their basement in Pittsburgh for her little brother and his friends and Christina was dressed up like old witchy crone. Besides she isn’t going around town like normal, she is going to her THEMED birthday.

  10. Kent Says:

Mr. Trent you have me stumped… wtf is a devotchka?

  11. It's Trent, Bitch! Says:

@Kent – ‘A Clockwork Orange’ has a language all of its own, ‘devotchka’ means girl :)

  12. Kent Says:

No wonder I was scratching my temple over that one… I’ve not ever seen the movie/read the book (but I guess that’s kinda obvious, eh?) Thanks for expanded vocab and dvd rental idea.

  13. Kent Says:

One more thing about vocabulary? Keeping in the vein of ‘a language all its own’ I just discovered the Celebrity Addictionary on E! Online. It’s brilliantly fun and kinda hilarious :-)

  14. tOnnY Says:

The only difference is that she’s wearing a Costume, because her make-up looks like this all the time…

  15. nicole Says:

happy birthday christina, im sure you had a blast =)

  16. debho Says:

I want to know, who really past the age of 10 celebrates their birthday with a dress up theme? It’s not even a milestone birthday! Talk about ramping up some publicity! Good on Nicole…I wouldn’t have gotten dressed up either.

  17. Attention Whore Says:

    Christina is an attention whore!

  18. nicole Says:

i would had have theme birthdays…its like letting her inner child out.

  19. Lin Says:

I love the movie. I love the book. I appreciate them as works of art. But some how dressing up as a rapist and a killer just does not scream Happy Birthday to me.
