I would say he is feeling uncomfortable about the gay-ectomy that is going on at Grey’s. Actor Brooke Smith was unceremoniously ‘let go’ without any warning. There was no resolution for her lesbian character or her relationship with Dr Callie. They just filmed her driving away from the hospital! They are also de-bisexualing another character. ABC wants to eliminate gay storylines … Ever since Katherine Heigl’s comments about the writing, I have thought there was something not quite right, going on behind the scenes of that show …

steph – I totally agree. I stopped watching last season, but George always irritated the crap out of me, even more than Meredith.
As for the age thing, I honestly find it kind of weird, but to each his own. I find it kind of insensitive to say that he can’t find someone his own age.

George was the most annoying character on the show until recently “I’m in love with Meredith…. no wait, Callie…. no wait, Izzie…. why doesn’t anyone love me??” Izzie is just as bad, although this season she is less whiny.
The only good things about this show are Christina and Bailey!

Funny, I don’t ever recall TR Knight saying that he NEEDS to date a 20 year old. The fact that you’re adding motivations to Knight’s relationship says a lot about you and your biases.

Sorry but a 35 yo who needs to date a 20 yo is just weird. I have no issue with age, but that’s a big gap. Yes, age is a number and yes, it DOES warrant a gross and a wtf. Ellen and Portia are 35 and 50. That is different. So, apparently I can’t have an opinion as everytime I post someone always has a problem with it. I could care less who TR dates. All I am saying is that I bet this relationship will not last. And age plays a huge factor.

I’m sorry but I’m kind of sick of stars being whiny and quitting shows. The fans are the ones that suffer because of actors’ personal squabbles on set or with salaries. I really wish they could just all grow up and make tv shows instead of making the viewers suffer by quitting for personal, rather than professional reasons.

All the best to him, but still, gross. If TR Knight can’t find a bf around his age (35), I think there’s something wrong with him. They are about 15 years apart or so. Sorry but that’s just wrong. If the boyfriend was 35 and TR was 50, that’s not an issue. But 20 and 35…wtf.
