‘The Hills’: ‘… Like A Bucket Of Worms’
ATTENTION: 'THE HILLS' SPOILER ALERT WARNING

So … last night’s new ep of The Hills was chock full of non-drama and one feisty Nana. Clearly the folks at MTV are really going after the big ratings! Essentially, last night’s ep was all about the fall-out from the contrived drama from last week’s ep (hint: there was no fall-out) and we were all introduced to the Pratt family Nana:

It goes without saying that the Nana bits were far more interesting than the Audrina Patridge bits … mainly because I am totally no longer interested in stomaching Audrina‘s convoluted attempts to make her life seem interesting on TV. After the jump, find out what went down on last night’s ep titled It’s About Trust

No offense to Nana Pratt but I can’t believe garbage like last night’s ep qualifies as television entertainment. If the show has resorted to scrounging up extraneous family members in order to come up with storylines … why bother going forward with a whole new season? The ep started out with Audrina revealing that she “no longer believes” the rumors about Lauren LC Conrad and Justin Bobby hooking up. Shocker!! The whole stupid thing ended with another face to face confrontation where Audrina litterally (and very pitifully, I might add) tried to squeeze out tears to try and gain sympathy from the audience (not from LC, tho, she still seemed adamant that she did nothing wrong in accusing LC of cheating with her on-again/off-again boyfriend). I mean … it was so sadly obvious that Audrina was trying to cry and yet … nothing came out. She needs to take lessons from LC — you cry on cue or don’t even bother. In the end, all’s relatively well between Audrina and LC … I think … actually, that part was unclear … especially after I slipped into a coma from boredom. The other major storyline was all about Nana Pratt — about how Spencer made his sister Stephanie try to feel like dogshizz for never visiting with her and about Stephanie trying to reconnect with Nana Pratt. I mean, we did get a couple of pearls of wisdom from Nana Pratt and we did get to see cute pics of Spencer and Stephanie as little kids but … that’s all we got. THAT’S ALL WE GOT! I don’t even know what else to say.

For me, the best part about last night’s ep was the commercial we got to see for the upcoming new spin-off series The City:

This show deffo needs a reboot. A new city and new bitchy people to get to know seems just what the doctor ordered. I guess we’ll see if the new show can sink or swim on its own … The Hills has succumbed to new lows, I think anything at this point would be an improvement … right?

With Whitney’s spin off, and Lauren’s leaving, the only “stars” left are Audrina and Speidi. How fun will that be? I’ve been wondering if they have spent so much airtime on Audrina because The Hills will focus more on her next season if Lauren doesn’t come back. I don’t know that I can watch it then!

whitney is the only girl that’s straight in the show.. straight as in cool. i wouldn’t be able to hang out with any of the other girls. they don’t have the audacity to be proud of who they are and not be freakin fake all the time.
