The CW has unleashed a new set of promo posters for the coming new eps of Gossip Girl (due out in early 2009) that feature four of the main characters each splashed with a disparaging label across their faces. Leighton Meester‘s character Blair Waldorf gets the most obvs label while Penn Badgley‘s character Dan Humphrey gets the most cutting label … check ‘em out:
I’m actually surprised that Ed Westwick‘s character Chuck Bass isn’t featured on a poster of his own … mebbe his poster is coming OR mebbe there ain’t a label that can be applied to him that we aren’t already well aware of. I just watched this week’s ep of Gossip Girl and I LOVE where the season is going. Now that tragedy has touched the pampered peeps of the Upper East Side, we’re gonna see a whole lot more drama thrown into the mix. I have to say that I am still very much loving watching Gossip Girl … it’s one show that continues to keep my interest (whereas a show like Privileged is starting to lose me). I’m glad to see that The CW continues to nurture this very fun show … promo campaigns like this keep the interest fresh. I know I’ll continue to tune in when the show returns with new eps after the holidays.

How well you love or hate The Hills, GG, etc. may not be an issue for much longer… Worry about the network itself. Word has it that it’s been losing viewers & advertizing $$$ since the merger between the WB & UPN in 2006. About the show worth watching, for me at least, is “Supernatural”

i am going to go a head and say that Chuck didn’t get his own because he is the one who will be behind these posters… after all he is going to be pissy the next few eps.

if the CW goes under, another network will definitely pick up Gossip Girl…and the other networks will probably be lining up to do so, they’d be silly not to!

I also vote for a weekly recap of Gossip Girl. I just LOVE hearing what others have to say and about whom. I have to say though, I do love Privileged. I was thrilled to see them move it to directly after Gossip Girl. I understand the move and it holds my attention. Monday nights are totally awesome for me now.
I bet Chuck’s poster will say just that its Chuk Bass jajaja theres no label for him he is everything at the same time.
