A couple of weeks ago we learned that Ryan Gosling is in a band called Dead Man’s Bones with his BFF Zach Shields when a couple of “promo” pics of the band were posted to the band’s official My Space profile. At the time, I wasn’t sure what sort of music the band produced as the My Space page was totally devoid of music and information. Today we get to see the first music video from the band for their song titled In The Room Where You Sleep … here are a few screencaps from the vid:

Dead Man’s Bones collaborated with The Silver Lake Conservatory of Music Children’s Choir, who appear in the vid, for this first single. It’s deffo a sound that I wouldn’t expect from Ryan Gosling … and I had no idea that he could play the piano so well. Sigh … it reminds me of The Notebook. After the jump, check out this new music video in full …
Yeah, I’m not exactly sure how I feel about the song …but I do love that the Children’s Choir are featured in the vid. Altho it’s not a clubbanger, it’s deffo an interesting song. To be quite honest, just seeing Ryan Gosling in the vid ups its appeal significantly … wouldn’t y’all agree?

I’m soooo gonna marry him!!!! Wait for it…you’ll hear about it here first ;p!!!!!
it has a mix of nick cave, devotcha, and black heart procession.
the kid got talent, I tell ya.
am i alone in thinking that both musicians had no sense of rhythm? it’s horrifying! i love Ryan and he does sound a bit like both Nick Cave and Jim Morrison, but c’mon — great song? are you kidding?
hauntingly beautiful!
