I always find it curious when celebs get robbed. This robbery was obviously by someone she knew and/or for publicity. If she has the money to put cameras in everyroom, you’d think she’d have enough for a good security system. Maybe she just didn’t lock her door. She seems dumb enough to forget to do that…….

and no I’m not shocked that she has cameras all over her home … I would imagine there are alot of psycho’s out there who fantasize about killing Paris (the way that guy plotted to kill Victoria Beckham a few years back). It’s an excellent security measure … It’s a shame you had to imply the usual innuendos about her sex life (like Paris is the only Hollywood person who has had sex). At what point are we going to stop throwing that sex tape in her face? … She was 19.

I know it sucks for anyone to get robbed of their possesions, but I couldn’t care less if it’s somebody like Paris Hilton. There are hundreds of people living on the streets and with nowhere to even live, so nobody should feel sorry for a person who has millions of dollars in the bank and a fucking big house to themselves!

Business woman??? Definitely not a term I would consider using to describe Paris Hilton….Missy I was about to raise the same point. Plus the “insider” sems to make it sound they think it was someone who knows her/her property. It’ll def make her rethink who she trusts (but shouldn’t she have learned that lesson from Rick Solomon?). It is unfortunate she lost things of sentimental value, and its scary to know a stranger was walking around your house. But it sounds like there was some unintended enabling going on by Paris.

It doesn’t matter how wealthy she is, being a victim of a burglary is a horrifying experience. When a burglar broke into my apartment, he only stole a four year old laptop (that I was looking to replace) and an old digital camera and yet, the experience shook me to the core. Just the idea of someone breaking in and walking around your apartment just boils my blood. I’m really saddened by this blog and by Bri’s comments. Yes, these are material possessions but the security and safety one feels in their home cannot go out and be purchased again. Paris deserves sympathy for being a victim of this crime

Give me a break! Boo hoo for Paris Hilton. It’s a few bobbles of hers that someone stole. Sympathy???!!! Have you heard some of the garbage that comes out of this woman’s mouth? I wouldn’t wish this on her, but when you are a spoiled brat, life will get you in some other way. Karma’s a bitch. And for Trent to poke fun at? So what? It’s not like someone died- these are material possesions that can be replaced. Call me paranoid, but are you two friends with Paris?

I feel really sorry for her. Didn’t she move into a gated community? If the burglar looked like he knew where everything was then he probably did know where everything was, so he’s been there before, probably very trusted by Paris, and now she has to reevaluate every single one of her friendships and has to keep looking over her shoulder even more. Sure, she is a partier, but it’s not like she’s irresponsible. She is a business woman who has managed to make a career by being herself, even if herself is a materialistic party girl. This is not her fault, and I don’t think she deserved it. No matter who you are, if something important to you is taken away, something priceless, it’s a very unfortunate event and deserves sympathy. I hope they catch the thief and hopefully return most of her possessions, and I definitely hope that she has learned a valuable lesson in keeping some parts of her home private, and the importance of keeping a home a safe haven.

I don’t think it’s a joking matter, Trent. Imagine if someone broke into your home and stole your most personal and prized possessions. Especially if it was a friend of yours that did it. I don’t think we would be hearing jokes from you.

wow trent, I really didn’t expect a post like this from you. you like to poke fun at celebs being stupid, but its never in truly poor taste. regardless of how I feel about Paris Hilton she was violated. It is a horrible experience to have to go through the realization you were robbed and especially that it could be someone she knows.

its not like she got in a car accident while high; thats a comment on her common sense. she was burglarized through no fault of her own, probably by someone she trusted. She deserves a little more sympathy and I would have expected it from you. This just sounds like what I would get from Perez Hilton or some other sleaze junkie.
