But unfortch a big factor is also the marketability of a star. Nicole, Julia, and Reese are celebrities as unwilling as the three of them are. They make headlines for sneezing. Meryl is an amazingly accompished actress and a star and basically deserving of any accolade I could think of, but nobody really cares in that same sense.
