Naomi Watts & Liev Shreiber Hit The Streets In Search Of Bargains
Earlier today, we got our first look at Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber’s newborn son Samuel Kai as the proud parents took the lad home from the hospital this week … so what are new parents to do once they bring their baby home from the hospital? Why, they go shopping of course. Here are pics of Naomi and Liev bringing home some lovely wicker items, presumably for their NYC home:

I mean, I know the first thing I’d want to do after bringing my child home from the hospital is go out and shop for wicker. Truth be told, Naomi looks pretty amazing for having just gave birth about a week ago. I’m not sure why but it appears that these newly procured household items are very important to these two — I guess Pier 1 was having a sale that was not to be missed.

Her face is, as always stunning…
….She is conveniently covering her post baby body with a giant coat for the cold and whicker baskets for the 3d tummy? he’s just along for the ride…..

geez trent…why so critical of them going shopping? the world doesn’t stand still simply because you’ve had a baby, you know!

She looks amazing, knowing that she has just given birth a week ago! (I’m not sure my sentence is correct this way…)
It seems to be cold in NYC, she’d be better at home than running the streets!
I wonder why she didn’t do netshopping! ;-)

No, the world doesn’t stand still b/c you have a baby but leaving your baby a week after they are born to go shopping is a little odd. But hey, priorities….

JJ-
Obviously you’ve never stayed in a house 24/7 with a screaming baby (as newborns typically spend the majority of their first few weeks crying) After a week, I was dying to get out the house! There’s no shame in wanting a little bit of time to yourself. And that doesn’t make her son any less of a priority to her.

I love how people make assumptions about their help. Maybe they do have a full-time nanny (and good for them if they do, don’t hate because you don’t have the money), but it’s also pretty common for your family to be with you 24/7 after a baby. I stayed with my sister so she could escape the house once in a while to do things including shopping errands. Anyone who thinks it’s fun to have a baby hanging off your tit around the clock (except for the moments you’re changing its diapers and it’s peeing while you’re changing them) has never been with a baby.

Pier 1 is either going out of biz or closing a lot of stores, can’t remember which, so they’ll have sales galore for all their plastic pumpkins.
