I am pretty sure it has to be a few miles out. So he would need a boat to do it legally. We can't throw them in the mountains either.I agree with what the pp said about DJ Am and Travis Barker. I think suing their estates is a greedy thing to do. The families of the pilots are the ones that are going to suffer from this, not the pilots. It's not the families fault, why punish them. I'm glad they are recovering and that they are lucky enough to be home with their families this Christmas. But, to sue the pilots. Seriously? Why?? You think they'll "learn something" from it? They're dead. No lesson there. No license to lose, no job to lose. They are gone. And, these people, who only made maybe MAYBE $70k per year (that's a stretch) probably didn't have huge "estates" to leave behind.
