Ok. I’ve tried not to say anything, I really have. And, I feel for DJ AM and Travis Barker. What an awful experience. Not one I would wish on anyone. I’m glad they are recovering and that they are lucky enough to be home with their families this Christmas. But, to sue the pilots. Seriously? Why?? You think they’ll “learn something” from it? They’re dead. No lesson there. No license to lose, no job to lose. They are gone. And, these people, who only made maybe MAYBE $70k per year (that’s a stretch) probably didn’t have huge “estates” to leave behind. Now, whatever they did leave for their grieving families is being threatened. That is disgusting. Whatever respect I may have had for them is gone.

I wonder if someone forgot to tell Obama and family that is illegal to throw remains into the ocean so close to shore. I am pretty sure it has to be a few miles out. So he would need a boat to do it legally. We can’t throw them in the mountains either.I agree with what the pp said about DJ Am and Travis Barker. I think suing their estates is a greedy thing to do. The families of the pilots are the ones that are going to suffer from this, not the pilots. It’s not the families fault, why punish them. I don’t feel sorry for those 2 anymore. What chumps!

I agree Heidi – any money the grieving families have left is going to be eaten up by lawyers. What is the point? The families could end up bankrupt. This is a shameful, selfish act on behalf of DJ AM and Travis Barker. They each could work for a year and charge $$$,$$$$ for appearances. If I were them I would be doing charity shows to raise money FOR the real victims – the one’s who spent Christmas without a member of their family.
