Katie Holmes, who just celebrated her 30th birthday this week, has been running herself ragged over the past few days/weeks/months and it is, unfortch, starting to show. Here are a few pics of Katie as she made her way out of play rehearsals at the Schoenfeld Theatre this week lookin’ worse for the wear that her hectic schedule has been heaping upon her — it is not a pretty sight:
In her youth she was famed for her fresh-faced look in the teen show Dawson’s Creek. However actress Katie Holmes could not have looked more different from her previous on-screen character when she was pictured in New York. It would appear the wife of Tom Cruise is showing the physical signs of trying to juggle a rigorous Broadway schedule while looking after her two-year-old daughter Suri. Despite wearing a cheerful red winter coat, the star continued to look run-down, gaunt and tired, sparking concerns about her health. Her skin looked clammy and pasty, the scabby remains of a cold sore was still evident on her lip and painful-looking blisters were spotted on her foot as she made her way to the Broadway theatre she is currently working at. Earlier this week the star looked pale and gaunt, with dark circles and hollow cheeks, as she celebrated her 30th birthday. The actress has spent the last few months living and working in Manhattan while she stars in the production of Arthur Miller play All My Sons, at the Schoenfeld Theatre. t would appear the gruelling stage run, which Katie has been performing twice daily, is takings its toll on the star. With still another two weeks to go, Katie has also been caring for Suri while husband Tom Cruise completes a promotional tour for his new film Valkyrie. In stark contrast to his wife, Tom looked the picture of health this week following his recent weight loss. Shedding excess pounds has taken years off the Hollywood actor. Tom Cruise is expected to join his wife and daughter in New York for Christmas.
Damn … now I realize that everyone has their off days (I, myself, am lookin’ a fright today) but Katie looks like she’s near death. If you didn’t know any better, the close-up shot of her bloody foot could be a dead ringer for Amy Winehouse‘s usually scabby feet … not good. I imagine that the strains of motherhood coupled with a grueling Broadway schedule is no walk in the park … here’s hoping that she is able to slow down and relax soon, the poor dear looks like she’s ready to keel over. Her unsightly gaunt pallor even makes Marc Anthony look better by comparison … yeesh! Rest up, Katie! You’re far too young and pretty to be lookin’ this frightful so soon.

Ah character shoe blisters … any girl who’s worked in major theater has had them. For shoes meant to be danced in, they sure do wreck your feet!
Let’s cut Katie a break – as a stay at home mom I can tell you caring for a young child is exhausting enough without all the career demands she’s facing. Personally I’m glad to see even Hollywood moms have their off days!

Any Broadway run is exhausting for any actor, even experienced ones, and adding a two-year-old and then a week of partying on top of it, and a flock of paps always at your heels, and preparations for the holidays, and no wonder she is tired.

Ahhh heck, leave the poor girl alone. We all have our off days. They just happened to catch a bad photo of her, that’s all. I reckon everyone has a few of those they wouldn’t want others to see.

why dO I feel bad for Katie, I haven’t liked her since her “Joey Potter” and “Disturbing Behavior” days. Unless she’s gonna make another gem like Pieces of April I wont be a fan but I do feel sympathy for her , nobody wants pics like these surfacing. Remember before the Mr. Crazay days?
