Semi-new dad and Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden showed off his new look in SoCal yesterday as homedog debuted his newly grown facial hair porn’stache/goatee combo … check it out:
Yeah … I dunno about this one. I mean, I’m an avid supporter of the new porn’stache trend that seems to be very popular with the celebs these days but … I’m not sure this look particularly works for J. Mad. I think it’s the goatee that’s throwing me off … I’d like to see what he looks like with just the ‘stache. I’m torn … what do y’all think? Thumbs up or down?

This is a big fat NO for me. The goatee definitely throws off the whole look. He kinda looks like Jonathan Davis from Korn in the first picture…

oh how i love him. But steffs right, he’s had this look on and off for about two years now.
The combination of hat, glasses, and sweatshirt is more distracting than anything he growing on his face at the moment.
Why do the Madden brothers fluctuate between looking bloated and being normal? Those pics of Joel caught him looking chubby again. I thought he lost weight!

K…I looked at this picture and the first thing i saw was the hideous sweatshirt and his pudge….then i read about the facial hair and i was like what?!?! I looked again and was like oh….Yeah i dunno he needs to lose the pudge and the sweatshirt then i can decide about the stash!
Awww I love Joel, but he looks so much better without hair on his face. And I’m pretty sure he’s always worn glasses, nothing new there.
He’s always had chins, but he’s not fat. The guy is actually not too bad when he shaves and takes off his hat.
