James Franco Bears His Soul, Bum In ‘Milk’
Hottie James Franco stars as Scott Smith, the young lover of Harvey Milk, in the new Gus Van Sant film Milk (which is currently in theaters) and while I loved the film when I saw it for myself a few weeks ago, I thought I’d offer up a bit more information about the film to urge some of y’all to check it out in theaters … specifically, a few screencaps from a very integral scene in the film — the one where James Franco swims in the nude in an outdoor pool:

Okay, so mebbe the scene isn’t necessarily integral to the film but it is highly enjoyable and shouldn’t be missed. After the jump, check out a few uncensored semi-NSFW caps of Franco’s pool scene …

Trust me, the movie is pretty amazing and should be seen even absent this scene in the film … but don’tcha think this is pretty nice inspiration to get y’all to come out and see it in theaters?

I drove 2 hours to see this movie and was NOT disappointed in the least. It was amazing, simply amazing. I’m telling everyone I know about it.
Sean Penn will get an Oscar nod, no doubt. And deservedly so.

i watched milk on sunday at the castro theater and went down to 575 castro street right afterwards to see harvey milk’s old storefront. the movie is already amazing– every actor in it is great, sean penn deserves an oscar– but seeing it in the heart of where it happened, with more than a few old dudes in the audience who you can tell lived through it all… incredible.

Milk is one of the most important and relevant films I have ever seen. The fact that we are still fighting for these CIVIL and HUMAN rights over thirty years later is appalling.
I urge anyone and everyone – please, please see Milk. It will change you, and it will move you.
Even if you are not overly interested in what the movie represents, it is a star-studded cast, and the acting and cinematography are excellent.
If you do anything this holiday season to better yourself and your community, support gay rights, and go see Milk. Spread the knowledge and message of Harvey Milk.
Happy Holidays!
