Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt Return Home To LA
The Hills stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who shocked the world last week when it was revealed that they had eloped to Mexico and were married in secret, returned home to SoCal last night … but curiously, the couple who were all smiles at LAX airport were NOT wearing wedding rings:
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. A couple of days after we got word of the nuptials, Spencer Pratt spoke with US Weekly magazine and denied reports that the couple faked their marriage in order to garner more attention. MTV even issued a statement that claimed the Speidi wedding and honeymoon would be featured in the upcoming 5th season of The Hills. Even still … the couple returned home from an impromptu and romantic trip to Mexico where they got married and, yet, they don’t find it necessary to wear wedding rings. Could they really be pulling the wool over our eyes? Is it possible that the couple really aren’t married and are just trying to see if they can fool everyone? OR, are they the type of couple that would opt out of wearing wedding bands? What do y’all think … are they married or not?

Spencer was, is, and will always be slime. He was a (for lack of better words) womanizer before he met Heidi, cheated on her on her then best friend’s show, and lied to her about it. I wouldn’t put it past him to not want to wear a wedding band.

Ok, I just plain don’t enjoy either of these two… at all… in any way. However, one thing I will say is they obviously have what everyone in this world would like… and that is to be with that ONE person who is always on your team. That ONE person you can be with and tune out the rest of the horrible world and be perfectly happy no matter what anyone says about you.
Then again, it could all just be for TV… heh heh

I’m just so thrilled for them both, goody goody goody goody!!! This is just the best news ever! I’m so happy they’re back here in the USA with us! I’m really pulling for those 2 lovebirds.

They are totally NOT married. What they had was more like a commitment ceremony…but it was not a legal marriage. I find it highly unlikely that they will go through the paperwork and whatnot now that they are back in LA. A few months back I was talking to someone that knows Spencer and they told me that he said he never was planning on marrying Heidi and that it will never happen. OF COURSE THEY JUST DID IT FOR PUBLICITY!

They did say in their Us Weekly article that they HATED their wedding rings as they came from a gift shop that sells leather products. So, I am sure they will get blingin’ replacements now that they are back in the States!

Yeah they said on The Hills After-show last night that it was just a “Hey there’s a chapel!” type thing…so they didnt take rings there and were waiting to get back to LA to buy the bling.
They disgust me. She used to be ADORABLE and now she’s an inflated barbie-wannabe. HE is just…gross. He manipulates and controls her to no end and she just doesnt see it! He ruined her reputation and ALL of her personal relationships. I say she’s just at much at fault for not watching the ish on TV and going “oh dear god, he is totally using me”.

Whitnatious I read that too… that their rings were made of leather… no doubt they’ll be tryin to whore themselves out to some jeweler to hook them up w/bling in return for free publicity about it. There will be pics of them w/their rings and sayin where they got them… They don’t do anything w/out it bein free or to get more press because of it…. they’re sooooooo douchey!!!

My Husband and I got married and picked out rings later. Having a ring on your finger doesn’t mean you’re not married…BUT I doubt they’re married. He’s a douchebag…if She married him then She’s dummer than I originally thought.

@Bleeding Ears… I see where you’re coming from. I never got that from them, but once I thought about it I think you’re right. It’s strange to see them living in their own complete bubble, not needing anyone else. Yes, we may pass judgement on them (and I do, often) but Heidi actually seems pretty happy with him outside of the Hills. They do seem like a unit.
But to make it clear, I do actually hate them and think they are disgusting publicity whores.

Set aside the fact that both Spencer and Heidi irritate the living daylights out of me, the whole ring thing. I’m over it. I’m happily married, for nearly 4 years now, and rarely wear my wedding ring at all. It does in NO way mean that I don’t take marriage seriously OR that my marriage is “over” as the tabloids insist for celebs who don’t wear wedding bands. Ridiculous people. Rings don’t make a marriage.
