Does it make me a bad person if I don’t care that it was fake? I accepted a long time ago that this show was that the show was scripted, but does that make it any less of a guilty pleasure. I hope the show goes on forever!

When are these two going to get a clue?! I’m totally on your side Trent. First of all, the show is ridiculous. I watched this weeks episode (which was the first one I’ve seen since season two) and agree, that the acting now is just horrible! At least TRY to make it seem real. Also, when will these two realize that life is not just about fame. To go as far as to stage a wedding ceremony…it’s crazy to me. Hopefully down the road they will look back and say “what the eff we were thinking?” What’s really sad is that I continue to read about these two and am actually commenting on them. I guess that’s what they want right?

They’re the worst! It’s all a sham… even the Associate Press has looked into their wedding.

Though when you think about it… publicity is all they really want, so they’ve basically won.

the show was never real…. its a show with crappy ‘actors’ who try desperatly to ‘act’ without a proper script. they’re ‘improvising’ sucks, and the whole thing was a sham to begin with anyways.

i KNEW this was not legit from the moment i heard about a possible “wedding”…
they will never be legally married. spencer doesnt want a wife. this i know………………for a fact.
a wedding and marriage is something that is special and important…to see these two making a joke out of it all really disgusts me.

Just when I thought MTV couldn’t get any more ridiculous. I love how a television station “dedicated” to promoting music is all about a bunch of fake socialites and now we have to dea with their horrible spin off shows.

I miss the days of Singled Out and Undressed. now THAT was entertainment!

I’m hoping this sham of a marriage will wake up the people who watch this show and convince them to stop so it gets cancelled. ::crosses fingers::

Because they know that they have NOTHING else to fall back on after The Hills is off the air……which I hope is soon, just so we can stop hearing about these incredibly horrid human beings! I also think there will be a “Speidi Spawn” coming SOON!!!! Maybe it will have that grotesque facial hair that Spence is trying to pull off!

Personally, I liked the show better when it was just a couple girls living a privledged life and having their girlish drama for the world to see. This fabricated drama is annoying and stupid.

They faked their symbolic wedding too. Last time I checked, they reported getting married at Palmilla with photos in the daylight. Next thing you see, they are at the cheesy ME Cabo getting drunk where he convinces her to marry him and the next morning they are in their room at ME, lookin all hung over watching their daytime wedding at Palmilla. All looks made for tv to me.

it could explain her “meeting” with LC .. idk im just throwing theories out there. But it should be taken into consideration considering the “regret” shown in Heidi on the show

These people need to get over themselves. I’ve been done watching this boring, lame ass show for over a year. Impossible to avoid hearing about these fakers all of the time though. Do they like being laughed at? Do they thrieve in public humiliation? I seriously thought we were done hearing about these losers after the tragic music videos, but apparently not! I’m just wondering if all of the fame and pretending to love someone you do not for a few million will ever be really worth it. I’d rather keep my sanity than to pretend to be someone I’m not.

While I don’t watch the show it is impossible not to know who these two are. I have watched Heidi’s face and body “evolve” over the last two years and judging by the stills that were posted she really needs to stop with the cosmetic procedures.

Can I get an Amen? AMEN, Trent. Geez, this show is beyond ridiculous. I mean I used to LOVE this show because of the realness. Remember Laguna days? Now, it is soo predictable that is not worth watching anymore. Heidi and Spencer disgust me. A wedding is suppose to meaningful, not a publicity stunt. It only shows how real their relationship is. If they want us to believe they are in an actual relationship, why the fakeness? MTV is just trying to keep the money coming by producing this crap. I will be turning in to Whitney’s how though to check out those facial expressions. :-D

@ Rachel, I too miss the old MTV when “The Grind” and “Singled Out” were as ‘reality TV’ as it got. Sigh.
@ Ju Ju Bean, I totally feel the same way. I have never watched a full ep of this ridiculous show and yet I know every single thing about it. Awful!

The show is bogus, and unfortunately Whitneys won’t be much better – I saw a casting notice in the trades today looking for extras for a scene they are preparing to film. I smell bullshit, MTV!

I still watch tho!!! Cause I love it! :)
