Earlier this month we learned that Britney Spears taped a fun holiday segment for air on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and last week we got our first peek at a portion of the segment when a teaser video of Brit and Ellen singing the Xmas carol Silent Night was released to the Interweb. The whole segment airs today on The Ellen DeGeneres Show … or you can watch it in full here on the blog. OMG! LOL!!! You know anytime that Ellen is involved with a pre-taped skit, it’s gonna be funny as hell … throw in Britney Spears and you’ve got comic gold. Britney teams up with Ellen to do a bit of Xmas caroling in one SoCal neighborhood and they bring mirth, merriment, a few free Xmas trees and one Aretha Franklin to the folks they find at home. Personally, I think the bit with the singing bird was pretty brilliant … I also loved the part where Ellen sprayed some fake snow on one house and the pair left a Polaroid picture of the two of them on the window sill — but when Ellen knocks on a door and yells out, “It’s Britney, bitch!” I seriously died!!! I love this entire skit! Check your local listings to see when The Ellen DeGeneres Show airs where you live so you can watch this entire segment in higher fidelity on your TV. Is this not the funniest shizz you’ve ever seen?

i <3 ellen!! i was home sick from work and got to watch this segment and couldn’t handle the funny….lurve it the scarf around the woman’s head and the “It’s Britney, Bitch” were the best parts. :)

That’s not Britney’s real singing voice. Ellen was trying to make her sound bad and herself sound bad on purpose. I actually can’t people take that seriously as far as her voice goes… it was obviously done on purpose. That’s why Ellen kept on saying her pitch was off and needed to go higher. It’s called JOKE. maybe you’ve heard of it or something???
Sorry, I don’t buy your defensive response about them “joke” singing. There were times when she was seriously singing and was off key. It’s not a bad thing, it’s simply that Britney sometimes goes out of tune. Ellen clearly was mugging for the camera, but it still required Britney to sing a few times as she normally would.
hahhaha love it! They are both so cute and ellen is so funny. Her holiday episodes are the best especially with the 12 days of giveaways. I heard today she is giving away a 32″ Vizio HDTV. I want one!
