Here is the official, definitive version of Britney Spears’s new music video for her new single Circus:
This version isn’t that much different from the first version that we got to see yesterday but it is nice to see a much cleaner version in higher quality.

like i said in the other post….i knew they would cut out most of the dance scenes…so all thats changed was the lions and elephants right? cause thats all i noticed?
i have a feeling they took out some of the dancing..just honestly shes still not that strong..the dancers around her keep out doing her.
but overall …its good, id watch it if it came on tv. has a me against the music vibe…but i wouldnt say this is her best video like i know some will…still doesnt beat toxic…and i dont think anything will (imo)
and i hate the purfume spots in the beginning lol..i hated in Mariahs..and it hate it here.. i dunno why but it bugs me haha

I agree about the dancing. She just doesn’t dance like she used to. I really like the song and the video is fun but I haven’t seen her dance the way she once did. Let’s face it she is a performer more than a singer and I miss the old strong dancing she used to do. Could it be the shoes? She always seems to be in heels now and in her hey day she always wore flatter boots.
I have never been a huge fan but there is just something about her that I can’t help watching. I am very glad to see her coming back and getting stronger and I hope things just keep getting better for her.
Here’s hoping If U Seek Amy is her next single… :)

I love her, no questions asked. She’s amazing and she’s going to make the comeback of the year at this rate. I really hope she gets all the credit he deserves for making such a great album after the year she had. It must be tough to put yourself back out there.

For the person who mentioned the heels, I totally agree. I think she dances 100x better in flats. Even back in 04 when she started wearing heels during the Onyx Hotel Tour, her dancing went downhill. Still an AMAZING video though. loooove it.

I posted this late on the other version of the video … but in the silvery dress/short hair look – she reminds me of Renee Zellweger as Roxie Hart (in Chicago).
That said, quality issues aside, I liked the leaked version of the video better than the director’s cut (the director’s cut had many more scenes of the silver “naked” dress which I didn’t find as compelling as whatever was used in the leaked version – which I think may have been more dancing scenes).
That said – I LOVE this song and video.

Jen I had the exact same thought! Especially when she turns and you see her profile, it looks almost exactly like a scene from Chicago! Anyway….I found the product placement entertaining. I wonder what sort of deal they struck with bulgarie?

The product placement in the beginning was funny. This video is so visually appealing, she looks AMAZING! I am so sick and tired of hearing people say she cannot dance anymore. I would love to see any of you do those dance moves the way she does. As a dancer, I have learned Britney’s routines since BOMT, and I have to say the more recent dance moves are some of the most difficult she has ever done! Stop flapping your mouths and throw the praise that Britney has EARNED with all of her hard work.

This video is amazing! so is this song. This is definitely one of her bests. But i do have to agree, somethings off with her dancing. Its not the same as it used to be. Who knows, maybe it is the heels.

I feel pretty lame for saying the videos are different … when I watched the video on ET, all the full-frontal shots of her in the see-through silver dress turned me off (because she wasn’t really dancing or doing anything that made the rest of the video awesome). When I went back and watched the leaked video, I realized it was the same, I just wasn’t spending the time trying to figure out how see-through her dress was …
Seriously, though – I love this video … and I think part of why I really like it is because she flashes so many looks that ARE NOT her usual “sex kitten” looks. She seems almost goofy at times and I think it’s so fun to see her looking more real …

Wow. To be perfectly honest I didn’t have high hopes – I liked the Womanizer video but I wasn’t blown away – she’s really gone to town with this one. Nice to see MORE dancing and I agree – she doesn’t really cut it up like she used to – her live *cough* performances have been a little dismal and have had nothing on Britney of old – but after such a big break from performing/touring she’s going to take time…
Definitely her best video since Toxic.

Have any of you guys seen for the record? In the documentary it shows her dancing for the womanizer video just like she use to, if not, better! I just think the directors keep cutting out the dancing, I love the video! It reminds me of Chicago, it’s excellent! & as for her live performances, her choreographer says that they were to mainly show off her background dancers, he said she was saving all of the energy for her tour, and then shes suppose to bring it, so Im excited & def going ….

Absolutely love it! This woman has overcome huge obstacles to even get herself together and this video is amazing… LOVE the album too! The song about her boys was very moving. To all the haters talking about her performances, dancing and such… I would like to see them put themselves out there and do as exceptionally well as she has following her recent times. I wouldn’t call making an observation about her dancing being a hater. I did see For The Record and she was giving it in rehearsals but it isn’t translating to her videos and performances. Most of the dance scenes in the video are sped up for some reason – most likely because they aren’t as strong as they could be. I think the suggestion that we should try to do what she does is ridiculous – am I Britney Spears? No. Should we expect her to be able to do what she used to do? Yes. If she wants my $90 for a concert ticket – damn straight.
She’s been through alot and it’s great she’s moving past it but let’s not forget most of her issues were self inflicted. I wish her the best of luck and honestly I wasn’t much of a fan of her music until her Blackout album last year which was really good and this album is too.
Go Britney – put on some flats and dance!

I loved it. That being said, I don’t like the way she sticks her tongue out like a lizard every time she sings a word that starts with an ‘L’. Watch the first time she says, “I’m the ring Leader…” It looks so unnatural.

I am so excited that my Brit is BACK! As far as the dancing? I agree with the majority..It’s there, but they cut out a LOT with all of the special effects and the animals…I would like to see scenes of her breaking it down in her next..and them not cutting it out…LOVE the video and LOVE Brit..
