Clay Aiken Has Got A New Man In His Life
Aww … good news for freshly out of the closet Clay Aiken … Star magazine is reporting that homeslice has got himself a hot new boyfriend! As you may recall, Clay became a father to his son Parker Foster on August 8 (08.08.08) and bravely came out of the closet as a gay man on the cover of People magazine a little over a month later in September so this news of his new love interest is just the latest chapter in his seemingly happy life. Here is a pic of Clay and his new Broadway actor boyfriend Reed Kelly:
The stars have aligned for Clay Aiken. In the Dec. 22 issue of Star — on sale Wednesday — we report that along with his new baby and new life out of the closet, the former American Idol star has a new boyfriend to enjoy it with! The lucky fella? Broadway dancer Reed Kelly. “Everybody knows Reed as Clay’s guy,” a Broadway insider says of the Wicked ensemble member. “Clay met him when he was doing Spamalot in early 2008, and that’s one of the reasons he came back to the show again.” They even appeared together at Rosie O’Donnell’s Building Dreams for Kids gala last month. “It was obvious they were a couple,” a partygoers says.
You know, I’m not a Clay Aiken fan by any stretch of the imagination but I really do commend the guy for coming out of the closet and openly admitting who he is to the world. Coming out is never an easy thing for anyone and I imagine it is especially difficult for people living in the public eye. For that reason, he gets my respect. I am happy to know that Clay has found himself a nice-looking guy to share his life with … it sounds like he got himself a winner. It’s unclear what ensemble part Reed plays in Wicked but I hope he gets to be a flying monkey at least. In any event, I wish nothing but happiness for the new couple. The new issue of Star magazine hits newsstands tomorrow and promises to have all the deets on this budding new romance … including how Reed the boyfriend gets along with Clay’s babymama Jaymes Foster. Sounds juicy! Can’t wait to read :)

And now you can see why Clay would be so interested in the lad. My question is, what talents does Clay offer Reed? UGH, on second thought … I don’t wanna know.

Claymation is paying him off..that guy has an Adrien Brody nose. Yikes. Nice body! Why on Earth would Jaymes Foster have a baby at 50? I know 50 is the ‘new 40′ but that is way too old to start having kids. And it’s selfish. She’ll be 68 when he leaves HS.

Clay is known internationally. This news is being picked up and published all over the world. I don’t see what is creepy about him. He’s a decent guy with a beautiful singing voice and he can act. What’s not to like?

I’m not a fan of Clay, but props to coming out on his terms when he was ready. It’s no one’s business about his baby mama – if she wanted to birf him some bebes, that’s her hot mess. I’m betting Clay’s a decent dad. And if he’s happy with this hot piece (from the neck down), work.

I don’t think it is any of our business what either of these guys do. If they are happy, I’m happy for them. Too bad that stars can’t keep their private lives private. I want Clay to be happy and if Reed makes him happy, then so be it. I wish the press would find something more interesting to report and not intrude in people’s private lives.

I went to elementary school with Reed! He used to chase my cousin around on the playground and I had to threaten to beat him up! I never thought I’d read about Reed Kelly on Pink!

I’ve seen Wicked seven times – five of them in NY! Reed is amazing!! He IS a Flying Monkey and he understudies one of the lead roles in the show too. He is the best dancer I have ever seen in my life. Those pictures are nothing in comparison to what he can do live.

The only way the Claymates will kill Reed is with kindness. They LOVE HIM!!! and are happy for both of them. Clay’s a great guy. If anyone deserves happiness, it’s him.

I have seen Wicked 5 times and as soon as I saw that face I remembered him. He is indeed one of the flying monkeys and is featured several times in the show. He has amazing stage presence. Once you focus in on him, you dont look away. He is an awesome dancer. I did not see him in any acting role but he is one of the star’s understudies.
Good for Clay…I hope they are happy together.

Glad to see Clay has found someone special to share his life with him. He has such a heart of gold he deserves happiness. I won’t bother to list all what he does to give back to society since the list is so long. If you are interested go find out and maybe find a way to give back as well.

reed kelly is the best dancer i have EVER had the chance to see in person. he is from my hometown in Minnesota. he is incredibly down to earth too.
