Balthazar Getty & Sienna Miller Make Their Way To Mexico
Despite the fact that Balthazar Getty’s behavior in his professional life has been affected by his behavior in his private life (namely his on-going extramarital affair with Sienna Miller) resulting in new reports that he will either have his role on the ABC drama Brothers and Sisters either greatly reduced to recurring character status or axed altogether, Getty appears to be happily carrying on with his lover Sienna Miller. Here are pics of the couple as they made their arrival in Mexico over the weekend and some info about his work drama on Brothers and Sisters from the very reliable Michael Ausiello from Entertainment Weekly magazine:
According to sources, Balthazar Getty, who plays the Oscar winner’s eldest son, was informed last week that producers were not planning on picking up his option as a full-time series regular next season. However, that doesn’t mean that Tommy’s place setting at the Walker dinner table is being permanently removed. Not yet, anyway. Per a B&S source, Getty is currently in talks with the show to stay on in a reduced capacity, perhaps as a recurring guest star. While a rep for the show declined to comment, Getty’s spokesperson denies that the actor is leaving. Rumors about Getty’s possible exit have been grist for the gossip mill for months. The actor’s real-life drama — the collapse of his marriage and ensuing tabloid-ready romance with Sienna Miller — has allegedly alienated him from his co-stars, many of who had grown close to his wife, Rosetta, and their four young children. What’s more, according to E! Online’s Marc Malkin, Getty has been showing up late for work and proving increasingly “difficult” to work with. But per multiple sources, Getty’s sorta-departure is not the result of any one issue but a combination of factors that also includes budgetary and storyline considerations. Tommy has long been considered the most disposable of B&S’s siblings. Removing him, at least as a regular presence, frees up the show to introduce some new blood. In any case, don’t expect Tommy to exit by way of a casket. Although an ABC insider says the idea of killing off a Walker has been discussed, the network would likely view such a twist as “too morbid.” As a result, Tommy is likely to either relocate with his wife and baby, or just drift into the background and reappear for the occasional disastrous dinner party.
I mean, I suppose in this dire economic climate it is very easy to blame things like this on budgetary concerns but I can see how all these factors intermingling together might lead to Getty’s depature (in whatever fashion) from the show. I, too, have been hearing rumblings that Balthazar has been acting a bit shitty to his co-stars on set so … mebbe he just needs to leave the show — and mebbe run off with Sienna? Looks like he’s already got a head-start on that account. The couple have been hooking up about every month so I’m not at all surprised that they’ve jetted off together to Mexico. Looks like they’ll be ringing in the New Year together while sippin’ margaritas on the beaches of Mexico … which sounds like the perfect setting to take one’s mistress while leaving the wife and kids at home. Score!

I used to like Sienna Miller, but she has a terrible reputation for fucking other people’s husbands (Jude Law, now Balthazar)
and that’s not exactly positive publicity. Why can’t she find true love with somebody who is actually single when she meets them…? It’s pathetic and selfish. This man has four young children and his wife (soon-to-be ex-wife, I guess) is gorgeous! What a dick! Seriously, those four kids will one day be old enough to discover his betrayal, can they possibly gain any forgiveness for the way their dad has treated their mother? These people make me sick and they shouldn’t even be getting any attention from the press at all, or getting acting jobs. LOSERS!

To be fair, Jude and Sadie were a month away from their divorce being finalized when Sienna and Jude met on the set of Alfie, and Sadie already had her boyfriend moved in. But…as for this situation, I honestly don’t know what they see in each other, except that maybe nobody else will have them now? *shrugs*

it’s sad because i’d totally like them as a couple except for the fact that everytime i see them i imagine his poor wife sitting at home with the kids. it’s really an unfortunate situation. shame on them.

He is in love with Sienna. He should divorce his wife. Wife is holding the bag taking care of an infant and 3 other kids solo (left to answer questions as to where their dad is, why he is no longer home; kept her head high while people gossip and laugh behind her back once she walks by), while he enjoys going to beach resorts (Vacation time) with his girlfriend like this on her birthday 12/27/2009 (off to Mexico). He has humiliated his wife and family several times over, possibly on purpose for his wife not filing for a divorce. When will he stop and put thing aright??

You can’t get any lower than Sluttyienna and BG. Why should his wife have to file for divorce? If she did she would probably have to pay him alimony as she did most of the supporting until BG got Brothers and Sisters. Let him file for divorce, he seems to have started this mess not the wife. Let him pay the alimony and then have Sluttyienna support him, but there is actually no legal separation yet!
I’m glad to say he might be losing his job and Sluttyienna’s future will be no different.
It’s been suggested in the press that he does have a Getty inheritance due him when he reaches age 35. This is probably the reason Slutty is holding on so tight and contributing to her drunk, drug abusers fall off the wagon by encouragement and joining in with him!! She wants access to that money. With her and her gloating mum it’s always been the money. Most likely his wife and kids will get more that half of it, deservedly so! Karma!!!!

Another photo-op that was not necessary. Seriously, these “BG loves me because he is spending quality time with me” photo-ops are useless because they only highlight the fact that the MARRIED MAN is STILL MARRIED and has not filed for a divorce/legal separation. There is nothing cute or romantic about shamelessly flaunting an affair with another woman’s husband. It’s sad and pathetic.
Instead of helping BG and SM humilate RG and her 4 kids, media outlets should be questioning why BG hasn’t filed for a divorce/legal separation if he is so “head over heels” in love with SM? It’s not about his inheritance, though that’s what SM and her mothers would have the public believe. They are in denial. It’s easier for them to believe that he stays attached to his wife because of his “inheritance”, then to face the fact that he has no intentions of having a longterm relationship with SM and is just “killing time” until something better comes along.
You consider this happy? She is all over him because she is trying to compensate for his lack of commitment to her. He is drunk and probably wondering why SM keeps tipping off the papz. Since she can’t force the MARRIED MAN to MOVE ON and file for a divorce, she is reduced to staging these”we are in love because we spend quality time together” photo-ops. Who is she trying to convince, us or herself? That’s not happy, that’s sad.
