Alli Sims Reveals Her Concern Over Britney Spears
Don't you forget about her

Former assistant, fake cousin and attempted pop star Alli Sims is talking to tabloids again now that Britney Spears is making great strides on the comeback trail (because why else would anyone want to talk to her at all?). You may recall that we last heard from “cousin” Alli Sims back in early October when she was trying to remind us of her existence by talking to the New York Post. These days, Alli is now talking to In Touch Weekly about her concern over Britney‘s well being and tries to set the record straight on her involvement with her back when she was in Britney‘s employ:

Britney Spears and her cousin Alli Sims were once as close as sisters. But as the pop star begins the biggest comeback of her decade long recording career, Alli can only observe from the sidelines, worrying if Britney, 27, is being placed under too much stress too soon by people more concerned about making money than the singer’s happiness. “This isn’t any old job,” says Alli, in an exclusive interview with In Touch that is her first since being banned from Britney’s life by the star’s parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears. “How can they say Britney is sick,” fumes Alli, “and then shove her out on the road, with all that pressure?” Hired to be Britney’s assistant in 2007, Alli, 27, lived with her in her Beverly Hills mansion and was a confidante during her most troubling times, including her divorce from Kevin Federline, 30, and the custody battle over their sons Sean, 3, and Jayden, 2. But Britney and Alli’s friendship came to a crashing halt in January when Britney’s parents stepped in to help her battle a reported bipolar condition. Alli was labeled an enabler by Jamie and Lynne, and was exiled from Britney’s inner circle. “I was a scapegoat,” says Alli, who attended school with a pre-fame Britney. “I have been accused of so many things I didn’t do. My reputation has been dragged through the mud.”

I find it completely ludicrous to hear Alli Sims talk about her concern over Britney‘s health when she was an integral member of Britney‘s inner circle and, I contend, bore witness to her downward spiral without offering a hand when it looked like she really needed help. You may recall that thru Britney‘s darkest days we saw Alli Sims, Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib surrounding her at all times. Once Britney suffered her mental breakdown earlier this year, her parents did step in, said enough is enough and exiled all of these people (Alli Sims included) from Britney‘s life … and lo and behold — Britney gets lucid again, she gets productive again and she is able to work in a positive manner again — lookin’ better than she has in YEARS. There seems a clear correlation to me. Alli Sims can try and convince us that she is an innocent, that she did nothing wrong … and that very well may be the case … all I know is that ever since certain undesirable people have been kept away from Britney Spears her life has turned completely around. I don’t really think further explanation is needed.

Bah… she is embarrassing herself. Obviously she didn’t care enough to get Sam Lufti the hell away from Britney. She liked the notoriety. End of story. 15 minutes up, girl.

  2. Alicia says:

Is it just me, or does Ali’s brief thingies in the picture look odd?

  3. PITNBer says:

UGH! She’s better off keeping quiet. The more she talks about it, is the more she reminds the public of what she’s been a party to. Srsly? What’s with people not being able to let go of the past and turning over a new leaf?

  4. nae says:

    she’s a media attention whore.

  5. mel says:

why is she talking like she knows what’s best for britney?
i suppose sitting on the sidelines while you watch someone’s life turn upside down is perfectly okay (sense the sarcasim), she’s reponsible for a lot more then she would like to lead on.

  6. Tracy says:

Obviously Britney doesn’t need someone who loves talking to the media in her life. It is none of this girl’s business to blab to the media about what’s going on. So good riddance to her.

  7. Rachel says:

This girl nees to go sit down. Obviously all she cared about was becoming a pop star herself and tried to use Britney to get there. And now she’s bitter because her free ride ended.

  8. Traci says:

She’s probably right though. Her current workload can’t be good for someone who had to be hospitalised for a mental breakdown as recently as she was. That said, I don’t think Alli is genuinely concerned, she prolly just wanted her face in the papers again. But, even if it is accident, she makes a good point.

  9. Jill says:

its sad that she is still known, without Britney know one would know this girls name. She may not have been part of what tore Brit down, but she sure didnt do anything to help either.

  10. Joanne says:

Sorry Trent – but I just can’t put this chick in the same category as Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib! Yes – she obviously wants a career of her OWN (hence the interview) but I don’t see the point in throwing blame at her for Britney’s meltdown period. She was one of many who were surrounding Britney during that time – including Brit’s own Mother who witnessed (one of those guys) feeding Britney pills or ‘medications’. As for enabling … the tabloid (and non tabloid) media was Britney’s biggest enabler during that time.

  11. Nat Lancaster says:

Although what Alli said may be self serving, I agree with part of it. I had a cousin who lost custody of her kids because she began acting out t he same way Britney did. She eventually regained visitation but the doctors made her take things much slower than Britney. I am concerned that other people’s judgement calls are not the right ones. To push her back into the spotlight is a bad move. Also, in the interviews I read, Britney does a lot of deflecting. Until she takes 100 percent blame for her actions, she will not be on a true road to recovery.

  12. nicole says:

i completely agree iwth you Nat (and everyone else who said the same thing). i noticed the same stuff when i watch/ read her interviews. its too much too soon

  13. shane victor says:

She is just another one of the many leeches that attached themselves to the golden goose of BS.

BS has pregnancy induced psychosis. It’s a fact…they are fearful of how her fans and the public might react to the terminology but that is what she had. 2 pregnancies, back to the back like that can cause exactly what happened to happen. To the Spears brain trust, the words bi-polar depression, they felt, would be accepted and understood by a greater number of people. So, they went with that over the real condition.

I wish BS nothing but the best. No one should have to go through what she went through.

  14. laura says:

i can’t stand Ali and i hink she is a total famewhore but i too wonder if this is all too much too fast. i love how britney looks and t love the new videos and music but i wish they would have held off on the touring thing. i think brit is doing well but you can plainly see she is not comfortable performing live yet and does she really need all that additional pressure?
I worry for her. I think the album would have still done great without the tour. And what would be wrong in taking the time to just enjoy being a mom, a daughter, a sister… you konw?

  15. Nimbus says:

shes sucks… and she looks like Celine Dion in this photo, and that ain’t no compliment… has anyone actually heard any of her stuff??? she any good?

  16. Blogger says:

    No futher explanation needed indeed!
“I’m angry at people for taking advantage of me” -Britney Spears

  17. Layla says:

Count me in with those who agree with Alli on this one. After hearing for a year how sick Britney was and watching her family rally to help her get well, I was kind of shocked by the news of a world tour.

It’s like loading a bookshelf with heavy books, having it splinter and break, and then piling the same heavy load back onto it as soon as you glue it back together. Wouldn’t it be logical to assume the heavy pressure of the books will simply break the shelf again?

Maybe Alli is a fame whore. But in my opinion so is Britney. She has more than enough money to simply disappear from the public eye with her children and truly get well. But instead, she chooses to stay in the public eye with two recent albums, sitcom appearances, a tell all documentary and now a tour..

I, for one, would rather she take her kids on a very long, camera-free vacation than try to entice me to pay hundreds of dollars for a lackluster performance. Her heart hasn’t been in her performances for a long time and I know I’m not the only one who’s noticed.

I wish her well. I sincerely hope she’s strong enough for this big tour everyone is sure is such a great idea.

  18. rhonda says:

I agree with everyone who agrees with Alli. Now we know she wanted fame and all, but she is right about Britney being pushed too hard right now. Britney’s main focus should be on her kids and rebuilding the relationship that has been lost between the three. You can tell in the pictures that her kids aren’t always happy to be around her and at times a bit uncomfortable. And she is hardly ever holding her kids just like it was before. She was given a second chance at being a mother and she needs to utilize this chance before she messes up again.

  19. nc says:

She needs to just shut up. Nobody cares about her. I didn’t even remember who she was when I first read the post title. I was like, I know the name, but who the hell is it.

  20. LydiaBlade says:

Cousins don’t run their mouths off to magazines, to try and help their cousins, if Alli was really worried about Britney, she’d be talking to her, not the New York anything.

Britney’s doing wonderful, she’s happy, she looks beautiful.
    I give all my hope to Britney, and as for Alli;
just go fade away. You’re a fake pop star, doll.
Britney could destroy you, any day, with a single song.
