And so … we have come to another New Year’s Eve together. Honestly, I’m still having a hard time believing that we’ve come to the end of yet another year already. It doesn’t seem like that long ago that David and I were in NYC taking care of the final preparations for his big New Year’s Eve party at his apartment … prolly cuz here we are, exactly one year later, in the very same place (well, except for the party plans). So many amazing things have happened to me this year that I cannot begin to list them all … 2008 will deffo go down as one of the pretty amazing years in my life:

Back in February, David and I made our way back to Amsterdam so that we could celebrate our 2 year anniversary in the beautiful city where we met. In June, Pink is the new Blog underwent a huge redesign and I was able to celebrate with a fun party full of all my very best friends and loved ones. I got a beautiful new car this year and I got to celebrate my birthday with David, Steph and Alek in Paris, France — one of my favorite cities in the world. I went blonde for a short while this summer, right before David and I jetted off successfully to Reykjavik, Iceland to celebrate David’s birthday … by snowmobiling on a glacier. In November, I was able to vote for Senator Barack Obama to become the 44th President of the United States … later on in the month, I made my debut as an animated character on the LOGO TV series Rick & Steve. In December, I was able to be on hand to watch Britney Spears perform live on US national television, bearing witness to one of the most successful comebacks in pop music history. And just a few weeks ago, I was able to meet, interview and hang out with one of my all-time musical heroes Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails on the final night of the NIN Lights in the Sky Over North America Tour — I gotta say, meeting TR had to be the single coolest thing I was able to do all year … if not all my life! ACTUALLY, 2008 was a good year for meeting TR — I randomly met him first last January when my friends and I ran into him at the ArcLight Theater when we all went to see Cloverfield.
2008 was a pretty spectacular year … I cannot wait to see what’s in store for 2009. I hope all y’all had a great 2008 and I wish you all much love, success and prosperity in the coming year. Happy New Year, y’all!!
