Linda Hogan, soon-to-be ex-wife of Hulk Hogan and mother of just released jailbird Nick Hogan, got herself into a little fender bender near her home in Clearwater, FL yesterday … not too far from the same spot where Nick Hogan crashed and wrecked his car last year. Fortunately for Linda, no one was hurt this time around … including her much younger boyfriend Charlie Hill who was smart enough to not be in the car with her as she drove:

Linda Hogan was safe and sound Friday after being involved in a minor car accident near her home in Clearwater, Fla., authorities confirmed to E! News. “She was rear-ended, but it was just a fender-bender and there were no injuries reported,” said Clearwater Police Department spokeswoman Joelle Castelli. The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. Weather was not considered to be a factor (a high of 77 degrees today in Clearwater, so we should hope not!), and no related speeding tickets have been issued at this time, Castelli said. Hogan’s white Mercedes sustained minor damage, while the hood of the red Camaro that bumped into her took the brunt of it. According to TMZ.com, Hogan’s December-May boyfriend Charlie Hill also showed up at the scene, which was barely a quarter mile away from where Nick Hogan’s fateful DUI crash occurred last year.

So while Hogan may claim to “know best” it’s clear that most of them don’t “know” how to drive. Mebbe it’s time that the whole fam just sign themselves up for traffic school so that they can get a refresher on how not to slam your car into anything else. Sounds like a good idea, right?

Kevin Federline, who has been spied in the company of one Victoria Prince — a former ex-volley ball star and current member of his bowling league — in recent weeks, took the next step in the burgeoning relationship between him and his new lady love by bringing her along with him on his weekend trip to Las Vegas, NV. Considering that LV is K-Fed’s holiest of holy places, that’s saying a lot … could true love really be in the air for K-Fed and Vicky?

HMMM … I suppose it’s to be expected that The Federline would want to start mating again. Altho I’m sure he enjoys the $$$ he gets from Britney Spears for the care of their young children, you know that man cannot live on $$$ alone. It’s unclear how serious K-Fed and Vicky are these days but traveling together is a big step. If we see her hanging out with his children (the famous ones, not the other ones) then we’ll know that he really means biz with this chick. I sincerely hope she’s on birth control cuz babies have a funny way of popping up whenever K-Fed is anywhere in the vicinity of ovaries.

For the most part, yesterday was a pretty quiet day for me … I’ve begun my preparations for my upcoming travels so I spent much of the day in my apartment. I’ve been loading tons of movies onto my gloriously high capacity 160gb iPod for my upcoming travels so hopefully the flight times will fly by with each passing fun flick I’ve loaded onto my iPod.

Last night, tho, I met up with Josh, Steph and Alek at BLD for an intimate holiday dinner before Josh flies off to be with his family for the holidays. Since he won’t be here for our big family dinner tomorrow night, I wanted to make sure to see him before it was too late. We had a great night together.

I am also staying home all day today … laundry and cleaning to do. I need to start packing as well so that I don’t forget anything. While I’ll only be away for 2 weeks, I’ll be traveling to Detroit, New York, Reykjavik and then back to New York before returning home to LA. While taxing, it should be fun. Hidee, ho!

As y’all are well aware, yesterday was Jake Gyllenhaal’s 28th birthday and to celebrate, he enjoyed a very intimate dinner with his current love interest (or whatever) Reese Witherspoon last night. The couple dined at Georgio Baldi in Santa Monica, CA and it looked like they were engaged in some pretty serious conversation. Ruh-ro! It looks like Jakey poo got himself into a bit of trubs last night … methinks that his stalling Reese off on the nookie-nook is starting to lose it’s effectiveness. I mean, hell, can you blame Reese for wanting to get into the man’s pants? Hee hee … whatever the couple’s activities were last night, it is my sincere hope that Jake had a great birthday and I hope that he has an amazing year ahead. Happy Birthday again, Jakey poo!!

For a second night in a row, Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer brazenly took to the chilly streets of NYC last night and happily embraced the throngs of paparazzi as they made their out of dinner at Il Mulino restaurant and then to the Olive Tree cafe. As you may recall, on Thursday night, the couple were all smiles as they cuddled and walked together after leaving a double-date dinner, smiling for the cameras all the while. Folks who are familiar with Jennifer Aniston know that she isn’t usually one to behave this way in front of the cameras. Yesterday we saw pics of Jen doing the walk of shame as she left Mayer’s place the day after she spent the night with him there. In those photos, she was not interested in showing her face at all. BUT, things changed later on in the day as the pair openly took their lurve to the public streets of NYC for another night of pap-friendly behavior:

Mebbe the trick to get Jen to smile for the cameras is that she will only do so if John is with her. We all know that JM has no problem engaging and oftentimes playing with the paps (and the media as a whole) so mebbe he’s just trying to ease her into his way of life. Whatever the hell is going on, I must say that I do like this new side of Jennifer Aniston. She looks so happy and it’s nice to see her happily matched up with a guy for the holidays. It remains to be seen if Mayerston will remain in NYC for Xmas and New Year’s Eve but here’s hoping that, wherever the end up, they have a great holiday together … smiling for the cameras :) Cheese!
