Earlier this week we saw a few photos of Prince William rockin’ a newly grown beard as he hunted pheasants with his younger brother Prince Harry and his girlfriend Kate Middleton … well, last night Wills and Kate stepped out on the town together, partying into the wee hours of the morning, and Willy’s chin pubes were in full effect:

Nights on the town have been a rarity for Kate Middleton and Prince William in recent months, but the couple made up for lost time with a visit to London’s Whisky Mist. The pair were spotted arriving at the bar – a popular royal haunt – at 12.30am where they partied until the early hours of this morning. And while Kate, who enjoyed dinner at Eight Over Eight restaurant in Chelsea with sister Pippa earlier in the evening, was dressed to the nines in an electric blue dress, it was her boyfriend’s facial hair that was attracting all the attention. It seems the prince, who is said to have stopped shaving while on a recent anti-drug smuggling exercise with the Special Boat Service in the Caribbean, has become rather attached to the rugged look. It is believed that he grew the beard in an attempt to disguise his identity during the 10-day mission. It’s something of a family tradition – his father, the Prince of Wales, sported facial hair while serving in Alaska in 1975, as did William’s grandfather Prince Philip during his own wartime service aboard HMS Valiant. However the look will be short lived – next year he joins the RAF, where beards are banned. ‘Waity Katie’, as she has become known because of her apparent willingness to wait around until William proposes, is said to have been unimpressed with his decision to commit to the RAF for the next seven years. But there was no signs of strain as they enjoyed their evening on the town. William and Kate, both 26, recently returned from holiday with friends at Wood Farm on the Queen’s 20,000-acre Norfolk estate where they went on a pheasant shoot with Prince Harry and friends. It was the first time the couple had been photographed together since September, when they attended a friend’s wedding in Austria.

I get the whole Royal “tradition” thing about growing a beard before entering military service but I think the new facial hair is also a sign that Wills, bless his heart, is trying to offset the hair that is thinning on top of his head by letting the hair on the bottom of his head grow as much as it can. I, for one, really like the more rugged look on him. Even tho the lad is a tall drink of water, I think he still has a bit of a baby face … the hair mans him up a bit, I think. I say we enjoy the beard for as long as we can … soon enough, it’ll be snipped off and all but a memory.

Contrary to rumors and reports going around the Interweb, Jermaine Dupri reveals that Janet Jackson is not pregs on his official blog. He also clarifies that the couple are still very much together. Speculation about the couple, who have been together for the past few years, was that they were expecting their first child together after Janet canceled a few concert dates due to a “mysterious illness” that was later explained as vertigo … so Jermaine took it upon himself to clear the air:

Lovebirds Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer made a very public and showy exit from the NYC eatery La Esquina after double-date dining with the very married Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos last night. While Jennifer Aniston usually tends to do everything in her power to hide behind things like purses, newspapers/magazines, coffee cups, etc. it was a very different matter last night. Cuddled up with her paramour John Mayer, who is never one to shy away from cameras, the couple brazenly walked the streets of NYC cooing and googly-eyeing one another along the way:

I believe that Kelly and Mark left the restaurant engulfed in flames, screaming out for any passer-by to offer assistance but the world was so centered on Mayerston’s walk that no one paid attention to them in the slightest. For those who might not be aware, that was a joke. In any event, Jen and John were all smiley with one another and, surprisingly, did not attempt to hide their faces from the swarm of cameras that were following them. Amid reports that there is trouble a-brewin’ in her marriage to Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez ventured out for a little shopping spree at Barney’s New York in Beverly Hills, CA yesterday — one of the more photog-friendly upscale shopping establishments in the greater Los Angeles, CA area — and seemed to be proudly showing off her wedding bling … perhaps in an effort to show the world that she is still very much committed to her husband and her marriage — behold:

Hee hee … I kinda love how she’s walking around with her hand daintily limp and faced forward so that the paps can get a clear shot of her massive diamond ring. Welp, I guess that settles it … after seeing these pics of J. Lo flashing her wedding ring I’m now fully convinced that there are no probs in the LopAnthony marriage whatsoever. The only thing that would look more convincing of marital bliss would be, you know, if she were actually wearing her husband on her arm as well ;)

Xtina Aguilera and hubby Jordy Bratman stepped out on the town last night in celebration of Xtina’s 28th birthday … and the couple did so dressed up like a couple of droogs from the classic film A Clockwork Orange. Here are pics of the couple all dolled up in thier fun costumes:

I understand that Xtina and Jordy met up with Nicole Richie and others at Mozart Pizza for an impromptu birthday celebration … which I guess had a pretty strict dress code. As odd as the pair look all dressed up like characters from A Clockwork Orange, I can’t really hate on them because that film is one of my all-time fave films and I’m impressed that they seem to be as well. I really never pegged Xtina as the type of devotchka to be into the ultraviolence but I salute her creativity and her nod to the masterpiece film by Stanley Kubrick which was based on the even more impressive book by Anthony Burgess. Happy 28th, Xtina … looks like your bday celebration was real horrorshow.

A new report by In Touch Weekly magazine claims that Britney Spears and Benji Madden of Good Charlotte are “dating”. More specifically, the mag cites a “source” that claims that the couple have “been on a few dates” and that Britney “appears to like Benji a lot”. While this is news that I would wholeheartedly embrace and wish were true actually sounds like a whole lotta horsepucky to me. Nonetheless, here are portions of this new report by In Touch:

Britney Spears reportedly has a new man in her life, and the lucky boy is Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden. The pair have apparently been dating since Madden split with Paris Hilton a few weeks ago, and were reportedly introduced by Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph, who has been helping her find a man. A source told In Touch Weekly that Spears and Madden met for dinner at a Los Angeles hotel suite, after Rudolph and Spears’ father Jamie made a list of potential boyfriends for the singer. “They’ve been on a few dates. She appears to like Benji a lot, and he seems to really like her,” the unidentified source said. Rudolph also reportedly called Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, and ‘Gossip Girl’ actor Chace Crawford, but Madden was the most interested in meeting Britney. Spears recently announced a string of dates to promote her current album ‘Circus’.

Blah … this report is so full of inaccuracies that it can’t possibly be true. Absent the fact that our dear Britney can’t even blow her nose without a photo snapping a pic, when would Britney or Benji have the time for dates? Britney has been out of the country or hangin’ with Ellen DeGeneres for most of the past month or so. Tho, I must admit … it would be kinda awesome of these two did hook-up. Britney needs a nice man in her life and I can’t think of a nicer man than Benji Madden. I think they’d made a hella cute couple … it’s a shame that this fantansy will prolly never come to be.
