Then the question about Lady Gaga comes up and the claims that she has been “copying” Gaga‘s style and look … to which Xtina responds …
What do you say to those on the Internet who are hinting that you borrowed Lady Gaga’s look?
You know, that’s funny that you mention that. This person [Lady Gaga] was just brought to my attention not too long ago. I’m not quite sure who this person is, to be honest. I don’t know if it is a man or a woman. I just wasn’t sure. I really don’t spend any time on the Internet, so I guess I live a little under a rock in that respect.

To be honest, I first thought that Lady Gaga was a man as well … she tends to hide behind big sunglasses and covers her head up with cowls — I guess I, too, assumed she was a drag queen. I now know that she is a real girl but, I guess I can’t fault Xtina for thinking the same thing that I thought. Who knows how Gaga will respond to this quote from Xtina but we may be witnessing the birth of a new celebrity feud, y’all. Pick your side now — Team Xtina or Team Gaga?

Um…hello! Team Xtina! Saw Lady Gaga perform in NC, and it was absolutely awful! She could only hope to be a drag queen. Then maybe she wouldn’t have trouble working the heels onstage like she does!

Lady Gaga actually said in an interview that she didn’t believe Christina was ripping her off, and that if she has somehow “inspired” Christina’s new look, she’s extremely flattered…I think she called her an amazing artist or something like that as well…

I don’t even care for her music or her image. But Christina doesn’t have a SHRED of originality in her body and she is well on her way to fading into obscurity. Nobody cares for her. She was the poor man’s Britney – now she’s just a nobody, completely irrelevant to music today.
The fact that she’s reduced to blatantly ripping off up-and-coming artists is just another nail in the coffin. Christina, give it up already – you’re OVER!
GAGA! She’s a-maz-ing. Love her cd and just saw her live and it was fab! I like Xtina too, but give me a break and watch yourself– she had to have known that “man or woman” quote could haunt her and make her sound bad. It reminds me of when Kate Hudson, who I love, tried to say she’d never heard of Katherine Heigl (who I also love)– and this was after Heigl’s Emmy win! Gimme a break.
Also, I tottttally thought Christina was Gaga in that new Target ad!
