actually no, the PR for VS events, i am told, is based out of manhattan. i am in fashion design and yes, the show was just as incredible as usual!! dec 3rd on cbs, be excited!!

i saw the show for the first time last year and it was effing insane. this looks to be no different.

as a miami local, i was lucky enough to attend the event!! the show was filled with the likes of john stamos, jason lewis, the kardashians & brody jenner and his play boy bunny of the year jayde nice, paris and co, jeff beacher of beachers mad house, scott sartiano, brett ratner, brent bolthouse, kristin cav, christian siriano, michele trachtenberg, etc!!!!! not very many “civilians” present inside the shows tent. it was an unbelievable night, the after party at the new LIV night club was out of control. by far the most celebs in one club in a long time! great great night at the fontainebleau re-opening and congratulations to VS for an unforgettable evening!

I love watching these gorgeous women strut it down the catwalk..They’re classy and glam, which isn’t what you would expect from a lingerie show..Yeah, I hate them for their insane bodies and beautiful faces, but they’re still fun to watch..

Personally, I don’t get it – yes, they’re beautiful and it’s a feat how they can walk in those heels *and* those wings. But they’re not selling anything at all to me – they’re selling unrealistic expectations to the men of the world.

A few months ago, I got an invite to come to my local VS to meet a minor-league Angel – and I commented to my husband, “This shouldn’t have been addressed to me; this should’ve been addressed to ‘spouse/significant other of Winona Patterson’”! That being said, I am a VS cardholder and a frequent purchaser of their more demure lines – hey, they do make good-quality stuff that works for me. The Body by Victoria Shaping Demi (in plain ol’ cotton or whatever it is) works beautifully, but you’ll never see it on the Angels runway. Am I going to buy the expensive and impractical stuff that will likely only be on for two minutes? Erm, no.
