Everyone has the right to audition – but they should not show people who are obviously mentally ill on the TV show – it sets them up to be mocked by the public and they don’t have the capacity to handle it or often, the support around them of family and friends. Sometimes it might make for funny TV, but we never see the aftermath – until now.

Very sad story…but she could have actually hurt or killed Paula instead of herself. Remember that Rebecca Schaeffer obsessed fan in the late 80s? This sounds similar, but this woman killed herself. How weird that she killed herself near Paula’s environment.
