Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Put On Their Game Faces
Why so serious?

A few Twilighters seemed miffed at my joking post yesterday about Robert Pattinson and Kirsten Stewart lookin’ gloomy at the Rome International Film Festival this weekend where they were on hand to promote their new movie Twilight. So, to make up for that egregious offense, here are a couple new photos of the pair posing for promotional portraits shot by Elisabetta A. Villa at the St.Regis Grand Hotel on Halloween in Rome, again, to promote their new movie together:

To their credit, they look very serious and preternatural in these photos … which go well with the tone of their love affair in the movie Twilight. Thus far, we’ve only really seen bits of the couple’s chemistry in the meager commercial spots and trailers that have been made available to us. I’m curious to see exactly how the romantic interplay between Bella (Kristen) and Edward (Robert) plays out over the duration of the film. While I generally enjoyed the books overall, there were portions that I felt were far too schmaltzy … will that still be a problem in the movie or will there be a huge dose of realism added to their interactions? Lest anyone think otherwise, I am really intrigued by this new movie … I’m curious to see how the books will come to life. Even if R. Pattz and K. Stew shun any notion of hair brushing, I deffo think they will be able to bring their beloved characters to life.

Lesson #1: Don’t mess with Twilight fans

  4. advann says:

She could smile and not look so pissed off in every pic I see of her…and this is coming from a Twilight fan. I found nothing wrong with your first post. Personally as a fan of the books, there is still a lot there is still a lot to prove from this movie.

  5. Samantha says:

I cannot wait to see the movie but I have not read any of the books and I have no interest in reading them. I absolutely adore Kristen Stewart, I think she is an incredibly talented young actress.

  6. Monica says:

Search the MTV Twilight videos on youtube. Rob & Kristen have amazing chemistry and it’s pretty obvious they’re friends off set… Plus Rob was a fan of Kristen before this project.

I think it’s going to make the movie even more amazing.

Pattinson is an excellent actor but Kristen Stewart is very over rated. She has that monotone manly voice which is very off putting. She seems incapable of showing emotion in performances. I’m looking forward to seeing Robert Pagttinson as Salvador Dasli. From what I’ve read of the London reviews he kicks ass.

whenever i see there pictures I still wonder why the eff they are so pissed off. seriously you dont have to be in character ALL the time.

they look like FGKs to me..

  11. Laynie says:

okay twilight was an OKAY book, nothing to loose our rags over.

harry potter was 546845456 times better.

  12. Laynie says:

anyway i agree with you trent. She was to “oh nos, my beloved vampire is not 5 inches away from me. After a quick fall down the stairs and dinner making i’ll drive my shitty ass truck that i refuse to get rid of to check and make sure my ONE AND ONLY TRUE LOVE WIT DA YELLER EYES isn’t fighting any WEARWOLVES!!1!1!! And check on my BEST FRIEND jacob who for some reason even though i LOVE edward i cannot seem to stop talking to or hugging”

  13. jess says:

    ok laynie
    u are mentally insane
    and ok book?
    just OK?
u need to have a psych check cause harry potter is an ok book
and twilight is 10000000000000 times better
also if this is a twilight post, why are u commenting on it if u don’t even like it?

  14. Elkay says:

I also hope the movies are realistic. I liked the books while I was reading them, but in hindsight…they could use a dose or three of realism. Bella could have been a kick-ass role model but instead she fawned over Edward for four books, and he babied the hell out of her. I hope, hope, HOPE the movies are more realistic.

  15. camille says:

    Their eyes are so intruiging!
Sorry, had to point that out.
I heard it was an amazing book.

  16. Tina | Tk says:

I’ve been hearing praise for the book from all my friends.. so I’m guessing that the book is really that great.
Hearing that it’s about vampires… oohhh I just love Vampires. : ) I just can’t wait until the movie comes out ! Hopefully the movies is just as fantastic as the book is!

  17. ck_love says:

Twilight is simple fiction. Which is not to say that it’s bad, the writing style is just simple. The story is wonderful and sexy, but it is in no way in the same league as Harry Potter.

If anyone ever wants to compare Twilight to Harry Potter, they need to read Breaking Dawn again. At least J.K. Rowling knows how to end a series by exceeding the expectations of hundreds of millions of fans! That being said, Rob is gorgeous and I have no doubt that the film will be a fun experience:)

  18. pheobe says:

I completely, 100% agree with ck_love (the post above mine)

I love twilight, it’s a great ficticious escape. And no matter what anyone says, this book really is a “girl” book, but a lot of my guy friends have read it and they don’t mind it. then again, they’re exceptionally cool like that.

but yeah, harry potter and twilight aren’t even in the same league, and this is coming from a girl who has a routine of checking for all twilight updates before going to bed. i’m not a twilight “fan” though, they connotations are just way too crazy. harry potter is just infinitely better planned out. (jk rowling spent YEARS outlining her book, Meyer spent a summer. and a dream) what would you expect.

  19. pheobe says:

also, meyer never was a ‘writer’. it wasn’t even her major. this book was just a fantastic whim, and i’m glad she acted on it. so for people who are looking into this book for this female empowerment and ‘role model’ theme, which is cool and all, i highly doubt she woke up to a dream, which she just had to write down, because she was interested in the girl. it’s the whole bella and edward thing, total youth adult fiction. totally no strings attached, sensual stuff.

  20. athena says:

    Boogie– LOL… i totally agree!!! it’s just not cool…

i happen to love twilight and everythign about it… i’ve converted 7 friends to love the books as well… :)

if you’re looking into reading this book because you want a literary masterpiece then you should look elsewhere… thats not the reason we love the book… it’s because it’s a awesome/fun read.

i think people who don’t like it take themselves WAY to seriously, and need to just let loose a bit.

but really, the reason we were upset w/the fist post was because he honestly picked THE WORST PICTURES there were out there… i mean honestly… there were like a million better ones!!!!

okay. that is all… for now…. but really- don’t piss off us twilighters, we take this stuff seriously, lol!!! :)

—CAN’T WAIT FOR THE MOVIE TO COME OUT!!!!!!!!!! :)
