Night At The Museum
Last night, David, his sister Eden and I made our way to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art to see the new exhibit titled Vanity Fair Portraits: Photographs 1913–2008:

It was my first visit to the LACMA museum so it was quite a treat for us. David is always interested in doing cultural things so I figured … what the heck. We also made our way into the Broad Contemporary Art Musem to check out the fun exhibits there. I don’t know why but I am in LOVE with Jeff Koons‘ Cracked Egg sculpture on display there. It’s brills! If you live in the SoCal area and haven’t been to the BCAM at LACMA you gotta get there … it’s a fun exhibit. Here are a couple photos of us outside the LACMA building posing in the Urban Light outdoor exhibit and a pic of us with Eden’s friend Amanda who we met up with for dinner afterward:

We met up with Amanda at Stanley’s in Sherman Oaks, CA. To be honest, we were all wiped … we bailed on plans to hang out with anyone afterward and just came home to crash. This afternoon we are going to try and capitalize on the amazing weather outside … we’ll see how long we manage to last ;)

Ooh, that sounds like a good exhibit. I’ve been to both LACMA and BCAM and they’re great museums. Hope I can get back to LA to check out that exhibit And it goes without saying, you and David make a cute couple!
