I totally agree with Trent. I am a HUGE fan of the original so the US version will never be as good in my eyes. I didn’t like the show at first. Now it’s growing on me. I wanted Molly to be funnier and she’s getting there. The hair competition had me in stitches. Selma makes a surprisingly funny Kim, I wish she had more of a muffin top and dowager’s hump. For some reason, finding out it takes place in Florida make’s it funnier and makes sense to me. I wish there was a “Sharon” character. Though the latina character that had a bigger role in last weeks show has potential, she’s not sticking it at the moment. Overall, glad to hear NBC is giving it a chance.

Yea,

i dig the show….But the 80′s camera fading and the shortness of the laughs concern me. I also havent seen the original so i am sheltered a little. I dont think it’ll last past two. but since its sandwiched between two shows i like, well i’m gonna watch it.

To be honest, I find the show growing more cringeworthy every week and definitely less funny. What keeps me coming back is the curiosity factor and I’m not sure how long that will hold up.

I’m rather surprised NBC has so much faith in it – but to be fair it is still early days so maybe there is better to come – I’m just not gonna hold my breath.

YAY Mike Naughton! Yes, he is 1/3 of the hilarious David Blaine videos. Mark grew up with him since around 2nd grade or something and they still keep in touch. He is also a Groundling and when I saw one of their shows a couple of years ago I almost died laughing my ass off. Wee! Exciting to see him in more stuff. NO. loyal to the original. so I just watch NOTHING after Earl and before The Office. that’s how I make my statement. grr

Oh that is AWFUL news. I was greatly looking forward to this show after getting hooked on the original Aussie version (Thanks Trent!), but it was soooo disappointing…I prayed to GOD that they would have canned it by now.

If nothing, then for the fact that they closed down the Outback when Trent needed his fix! Haha…..

Yeah, it’s not incredibly hilarious, but it’s pretty entertaining :D I just love Selma Blair in this show.
