Yesterday I posted a newslink reporting that Olympic Gold-Medalist Michael Phelps had brought home his new girlfriend to meet his family on Thanksgiving Day. At first, I thought it was a very sweet story … until I learned from TMZ that Phelpsie‘s new chick, Caroline Caz Pal, is a cocktail waitress from Las Vegas, NV who has a penchant for posing for topless photos. Michael Phelps has taken another lap with his girlfriend – a big one. She’s spending Thanksgiving in Baltimore with him and his family. The Olympic champ has been dating Las Vegas cocktail waitress Caroline “Caz” Pal, 26, for about two months. The two met after his record-setting performance in Beijing last summer. “She’s there [in Maryland] meeting his family for the first time,” a source close to Pal tells PEOPLE. Along with dating Pal, a waitress at the Palms Casino Resort’s Moon Nightclub, Phelps is spending time in Vegas working on his poker game. Sources tell PEOPLE he’s hoping to participate in the 2009 World Series of Poker. He recently made it to the final table of the Caesars Palace Poker Classic. “It was fun!” he told PEOPLE after the tournament. “It’s just like a game that I could become better at and use some of my competitiveness at the poker table.”
LOL … the poor guy has to spend his time learning to play poker in Vegas while his girlfriend is bizzy earning tips at the Moon nightclub … not exactly a romance made in heaven but … I guess it works. Phelpsie isn’t THAT bad ya’ll. I’ve seen much worse. Anyway, I thought he would go for a nice girl. Not to say this girl isn’t nice but not exactly what I thought that he would end up with. This is going to end up being her “ticket” to fame and it’s all thanks to Mr. 8 Gold Medals. Sad.
Phelps isn’t gorgeous but he’s much better looking than that woman!!
I find it hilarious that “cocktail waitress” has become synonymous with “trash” in so many vocabularies. It’s just another type of waitressing … just with drinks only instead of food.
As for the photos … she’s clearly a promo model for something, notice how many times she’s in the EXACT same outfit as her “friends” … and the implied nudes? Sorry to say it, but the girl doesn’t seem to have much sense. It totally looks like she’s the aspiring model who chose to work with a few… questionable …. photogs who said they could “help” her career.

What happened to the beauty queen he was dating when he returned from the Olympics? He seriously went from a beauty queen to a Vegas cocktail waitress? Granted he is young and rich so I guess it’s not too surprising. Maybe it’s just a 2 month one-night-stand.
