Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer were uncharacteristically snapped out and about together in NYC last night just about a day after Aniston‘s Vogue magazine coverstory hit the Internets. You may recall that Jen talked very openly about her new love affair with John in the mag as well as her lingering feelings towards ex-hubby Brad Pitt and his new wife-like partner Angelina Jolie. It would appear that confession is good for the soul because this Mayerston public appearance seems a little out of the ordinary. Here are pics of Jen and John making their way out of the NYC eatery La Esquina late last night:
Days after Jennifer Aniston declared she’s “lucky in love,” she joined her beau, John Mayer, for a romantic dinner date in NYC. The pair met up at Manhattan hotspot La Esquina late Thursday night. Aniston, 39 – dressed in black boots, skinny jeans and a bomber jacket – and Mayer, 30, couldn’t keep their hands off each other, according to a witness. After Mayer settled the bill, they headed over to GoldBar – but not before Aniston sweetly signed autographs and hugged a few fans. At the club, the couple hit the dance floor well into the morning.
Well now … clearly Mayerston are hellbent on giving their second shot a love a fighting chance. I mean … matching black outfits and everything. They are NOT effing around this time. From the beginning, I really liked these two together and was pretty bummed that they decided to call it quits over the summer. To be honest, I never thought they’d actually get back together so I’m glad to see that they proved me wrong. I suppose I should’ve known that the couple might amp up their visibility after Jen‘s Vogue interview came out. As I said, it is very uncharacteristic for Jen to venture out in public with a romantic interest and not try and shun the cameras. This smiling new, photo-friendly Jennifer Aniston is a nice surprise. We’ll have to see if she keeps it up. I’m pretty sure John Mayer is up for happily embracing the paps. Do y’all think that this is the beginning of a serious LTR for the couple?

John is looking better than ever these days with a shaved head. Jen always looks great. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her looking horrible. I would definitely not say she is a publicity whore by any means. But that clip of her going to the Ivy in LA and then going out the back exit right after coming in? Publicity stunt, if you ask me…If she’s preggers, good for her. She deserves it. First kid at 40, old but not that old at all. 40 is the new 30!

Publicity whore, publicity stunt; whatevs. It’s really convenient, though, that she starts creepin back around with douchey Mayer right before her Vanity Fair interview comes out, which is a few months before her next MOVIE comes out…on the same day as Brad’s new movie. Hm. Still, if she’s knocked up, then good for her. I don’t begrudge anyone kids. :)
They’re adorable.
About her going into the Ivy the other day, she said the back entrance was blocked at the time of her arrival. She went through the front door, went directly to the kitchen, and signed a contract with a chef to help overweight children (I believe there’s pictures of her hanging out the kids at their school), and left out the back. She never once stepped foot into the dining room to eat. I think she’s pretty far from being a publicity whore…. And I agree that John Mayer (with whom I usually CANNOT STAND) looks delicious with his shaved head, AND HIS CLOSED MOUTH. :)
I think they’re both wonderful… I love JM’s music – my hubby is one of his biggest fans and plays his music on the guitar all the time. Jen seems like a sweetie – I don’t get the whole ‘attention whore’ stuff.. I don’t see it – I don’t think she gets to choose when her movies come out.. or when the interviews she does comes out.. and how jenn came out to be the bad person in the eyes of the public after being cheated on astounds me.. I agree that she looks pregnant – and that could be the reason they’re back together, and if so, good for them :) I think they’ll make great parents :) and I hope I look that good at 40!
give them a chance. at least they aren’t out whoring around, sleazing with married people. they seem like two decent people who are working at building a relationship together. good for them. oh, and people who eat, can get tummy bloat – doesn’t mean she is pregnant. but if she is, goody for them. they both deserve happiness.
I seriously think that they are already married. I’ve always thought so. I think JM and JA are trying to prove that it can be done.
