Marilyn Manson & Evan Rachel Wood Are Dunzo!
The famed fairytale romance between 39 year old Marilyn Manson (née Brian Warner) and his 21 year old ladylove Evan Rachel Wood has reportedly come to a sad conclusion. You may recall that Manson was married to and divorced from burlesque starlet Dita von Teese before he hooked up with Wood (18 years his junior) in late 2006. He often referred to her as his “muse”. A new report from Star magazine reveals that a spat over Evan’s brother was the “tipping point” that led to the couple’s break-up. They’re dunzo, y’all:
Blood is obviously thicker than water for Evan Rachel Wood. She dumped live-in boyfriend Marilyn Manson on Oct. 23 after he tried to kick her brother Ira out of their guest house. “Evan owned the house and didn’t want her unemployed sibling living on the street,” a source tells Star. “It was the tipping point. Evan was fed up with how controlling and emotionally abusive Marilyn was.” The actress-singer, 21, started dating the 18-years-older goth rocker in December 2006, as his marriage to Dita Von Teese was collapsing.
To be honest, I’m surprised the couple managed to stay together this long. I’m not entirely sure but I believe that MM and ERW were together longer than MM and DvT were married. Call me crazy but I suspect that Marilyn Manson is a very difficult person to be in a romantic relationship with. I bet he gets pancake make-up all over everything! I suppose we’ll have to wait and see which unfortunate young woman with poor judgment decides to enter into a relationship with Manson next. Who do y’all think should try to woo Marilyn Manson now that he’s a single man again?

Ugh, I love Evan Rachel Wood as an actress but I never understood why she started dating Manson. From what we saw it really feels like she changed alot about herself to be with him. Hopefully we’ll see more of the real Evan now.
P.S. I haven’t commented yet but I’m sorry that it looks like Prop 8 passed. I live in Missouri (but raised in northern Illinois) and I can’t stand that I live in a somewhat conservative area of the country. I teared up when I read that it passed. I’m hoping the best for California and the rest of the country. One day, you will get the rights you deserve!

No one deserves this creep! I knew ERW would “outgrow” him. I saw Evan Rachel Wood on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival (along with Mickey Rourke)…she had dyed her hair red and was wearing a GORGEOUS dark green gown. I didn’t even KNOW who she was!! I knew then that she was “over” MM!

Well, that’s what she gets for “stealing” him from his wife… she should have left him with Dita! It bugged me that Evan seemingly tried to mimic Dita’s style, too.
I’m glad they’re over, maybe now he can make good music again…..

This match was totally gross. I thought that he and DvT were a good couple until they split and she talked about his abuse of drugs and alcohol. The fact that he would get involved with someone so young is very creepy. He’s interesting & progressive in some ways, but he seems kind of like a typical chauvinist pig in other ways.

NO ONE. the heart-shaped glasses album is kinda frighteningly depressing and when i saw him live, he collapsed and had to be given oxygen. i was in the front row and he came down in front of the stage so i got to see him up close and he looked terrified, like he was so fucked up that he had no idea what was going on. he needs help.

I have to say when I saw Heart Shaped Glasses I actually cried a little bit. I was such a fan of Evan Rachel Wood (as an actor). To watch a potential Oscar winner f*cking her career up (to please a boyfriend) was hard. I can see why she was so attracted to him – in his interviews he is intriguing, but I also think he has a manipulating personality … he know’s exactly what he is doing. I will be good to see her being herself again instead of being MM’s handbag.

it’s over for real … i just heard Evan confirm it .. oh well, i think she’s too hot for Marilyn anyway. i love her style. heard she’s working with Kira Plastinina on some ‘not so goth’ stuff too .. hope so!
