Mariah Carey Does ‘Redbook’ Magazine
Mariah Carey is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Redbook magazine this month and in her coverstory interview, she reveals to the world how she likes to get into the Xmas spirit … or should I say the XXXmas spirit?
How does Mariah Carey plan to make the season bright for hubby of six months Nick Cannon? “I always get Santa lingerie, even if nobody sees it,” the singer, 39, tells Redbook’ for its December issue. “But this year it will be appreciated!” Stripping down for the holidays is apparently a Carey holiday tradition. “[My girlfriends and I] go in the hot tub in our Christmas bikinis, then roll in the fresh snow and jump back in,” says the songbird, who usually opts for “a red bikini with a Santa hat.” But that doesn’t mean she isn’t excited about starting her own sweet traditions with Cannon. “I’m really looking forward to being in love on Christmas,” she says. “The holidays are always great, but being in love … is going to be the icing on the cake.”
I love it! Mimi really does know how to make the yuletide bright! While I highly doubt that her idea of celebrating Xmas is in line with celebrations from days of yore, I think that her new hubby Nick Cannon will have no complaints this holiday season. Mariah Carey has recorded one of my absolute fave contemporary Xmas songs (All I Want For Xmas Is You) so I tend to associate the holiday season with Mimi in some respects … this new information about how she celebrates the yuletide is a bit disarming but … really sounds so Mariah. Incidentally, one of my other fave contemporary Xmas songs is Britney Spears’s track My Only Wish (This Year) … but I don’t really need to know if she, too, likes to strip down to her skivvies on Xmas Eve, thanks.

I love MC and I am in love with the comment Chase supplied. True words. The picture with her eyes closed and that delightful smile of hers is divine. So just for the record “Coco,” MC has way more lovers than haters.

MC has far more lovers than haters. She is the one true Queen of Music. I do find the haters funny, however. THey make such pointedly humorous comments.
