hahaha… thank you for posting the bombing of Lindsay video
Her girlfriend didn’t even react…. classic.
And if one more celeb announces they are going to retire from acting in an attempt to see who cares, I am going back to being a sniper and I’ll do the job myself.

Speaking of The Artist Formerly Known As Cool, I wouldn’t mind suing him myself … for being a dumbass!
Did anyone else read his BS interview including his quote about gays after being asked for his views on gay marriage?
Here’s his dumbass answer: “God came to earth and saw people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever, and he just cleared it all out. He was, like, ‘Enough.’ ”
Yeah, and I’m, like, ‘Enough’ with Prince and buying his records from now on.
I gotta say I’m disappointed that a smart man like him would allow his independent thought to be hi-jacked by organized-religion-speak.
Btw, the quote is from the Minneapolis Star Tribune.com

Kent- Prince actually made an additional statement clarifying his comment.
Further more, I think it is ridiculous that you get angry at him for speaking what he believes. This whole thing with gays attacking religion is getting out of control. You expect your voice and opinion to be heard and accepted, yet if someone else has an opposing view and speaks it, you are the first to condemn thier opinion? I mean, yes, if you are gay, you should have the same rights every citizen has. But if someone doesn’t agree with the practice of homosexuality, that is thier right to do so. If you don’t agree with a religion that doesn’t agree with homosexuality, don’t join that religion. It’s that simple. And before anyone gets angry with me, I am not saying that hating ANYONE is ok or that taking away ANYONE’S rights is ok. But come on… stop the hate. Let people have thier opinions.

@coco – if you could point me to where Prince clarified his comment, I would like to take a look. Thanks!
I have absolutely no problem with people having their opinions. But when a public figure uses public means to publicize an opinion, then it’s open season on public comment – for all of us.
Two of my personal friends were raised in JW families. Both of these friends are/were gay. Both were disowned – completely – by their families because of being gay.
One friend sadly drowned several years ago and her young life ended far too soon. After her death, her family didn’t even attend her funeral. Why? Because their dead daughter was gay. How sad and pathetic and hateful is that?
My other friend is thankfully still alive, but even her precious life continues to be ignored by the JW family that raised her. Why? Because she is a lesbian.
So, when I read a quote from Prince like this, I tend to get a wee bit riled up. It’s because I cannot bear the thought of what happened to my two friends, happening to anyone else. Including you, coco, or anyone else that you might care about or love.
So, when you write “stop the hate” please think twice about where that statement is most effectively directed.

Kent- http://prince.org/msg/7/289276 Here is one of a few sources explaining the misquotation.
Allow me to explain why I am riled up. I am Mormon. I am sick of being told that I hate gay people. I DO NOT. Does my religion teach that homosexuality is wrong, sure. Does it teach to hate people, NO. Does it teach to love EVERYONE and be kind to EVERYONE and reach out in friendship to EVERYONE, and to always respect others, YES!!!! I am extremely frustrated with the demonstrations being held in front of temples, not only because the people doing it clearly do not understand what Mormons truly believe in, but also because, do you know who is working in the temple? Adorable little elderly people who donate thier time. Do you think its right for these people to come out to screaming angry people? I don’t! And for the record, 3% of the votes in favor of prop 8 were LDS people. There is more than 3% of CA’s population that is LDS, so I guarantee there were plenty of Mormons who voted NO as well. I don’t live in CA, but I believe in people’s right to live as they please.
I do think what your friends’ parents did was MAJORLY extreme and sad… which is why I said that everyone needs to stop the hate. Like I said before, EVERYONE needs to respect others rights to opinions and choice of lifestyle.
