‘Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince’ Gets Yet Another Movie Trailer

A new trailer for next summer’s Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has made its way to the Internets … behold:
You may recall we got to see the International Trailer last month and the first teaser trailer in July. Of the three, I think this latest one is the least exciting. I can’t get over how dark the whole movie looks … I mean, I understand why but … if the movie is actually this dark in the theater, it’s gonna make for a gloomy time at the movies. I’m still very much interested in seeing Half-Blood Prince when it hits theaters next July … I guess I am looking forward to all the gothiness.

I think that was a great trailor. I am so excited for this movie I think any glimpse of it is good!

I expected the movie to be dark since the 6th book was, imo, the darkest book. (I realize that’s thoroughly up for argument, it’s just my opinion) I think the movie’s looking fantastic from what I’ve seen. Each preview gets me more and more excited. I hate that we have to wait until July to see it. Hopefully it will deliver on the hype. The 6th book was honestly my least favorite, so this might actually be one time I prefer the movie to the book. We’ll see.

what I do like is that the director seems to be working with how the child actors have grown up. Most children their age are dealing with the potion of love..many not black magic. I am excited to see this new one….

I am so excited for this movie! I am kind of pissed they pushed it back till next year! I will have to just wait with my anger until it comes out! It looks good but at this point there is so much going on in the story line I am curious to see how they convey all of it on the big screen!

I am so colossally pissed that this could be coming out in a week. I’m super excited for Twilight but damn, I obsessively Love Harry and this movie looks fantastic.

Oh man, i’m too excited for this movie! I’ve been a HUGE harry potter fan since the first book came out and the excitement has only increased with time! I agree, any glimpse of the new movie makes me beyond happy and I do expect the movie to be dark since the book was dark. It wouldn’t make any sense if they tried to downplay that.

the trailer even makes me cry….the book breaks my heart so I don’t know how I will be able to handle the film but if they hadn’t changed the date we’d be able to see it THIS MONTH!! Man that sucks!!!

I love any trailer they put out for the movie and this one is no exception. I like how you see snipets of humor and comedy in the middle of all the darkness that is the 6th book. I think out of all the books this one is my favorite just because it shows how at the heart of it all these are teenagers and there is more to them than just being wizards and dealing with dark magic. I HATE Warner Bros for shelving this until next summer… they could have so given Twilight a really good competition next week. And people who like both would go and see both! Damn then, it kills me knowing the movie is sitting on the WB lot somewhere…

I really wish this was coming out this month! I agree with Michelle about, well, pretty much everything. I don’t know if this one’s my favorite but it’s up there. I’m glad to see a lot of the funnier parts made it in to the movie, especially the part with Ron! ugh, July is so far away!

My tummy is all in knots with excitement again! I can’t believe we have to wait so effing long..I mean, the movie is finished, right?? Why wait until JULY?? Ugh..I’m totally with Char on the sadness aspect of the book..I still cry when I think about it..I know I’m going to be a big baby in the theater but I just don’t care!! Whoooo!!

oh i’m so excited! the last two books were definitely dark… so we can only expect the films to be the same. it’s actually funny when you think about it that they were initially portrayed as books for children. HP is my favorite book series and the first few movies weren’t very good (imo) but the last one was wonderful and the 4th one was decent too. i hope they keep getting better!

I feel like they showed too much…like it really covered nearly ever plot point in the book. It’s like when they show all the funniest parts of a comedy in the trailer…still excited though.
