Happy ‘Twilight’ Eve, Y’All!!!
The time has finally come

So … tonight, at the stroke of midnight, Twilight the movie officially opens in theaters here in the US and I (along with thousands of people across the country, I’m sure) will be at one of the midnight showings in LA:

I would like to take this opportunity to remind y’all that you still have until Monday November 24 to submit YOUR entry in the Twilight Prize Pack contest that I am currently running here on the blog (in case you missed hearing about it, click HERE for deets). This weekend would be the perfect opportunity to take some fun vampy pics for the contest entry:

Show me what YOU look like as a character from Twilight and you could win the awesome prize up for grabs. You can also send in pics from the midnight showings tonight for posting with the PITNB Readers pics on Saturday. Have fun … I’ll be lookin’ for y’all’s pics :)

I don’t think it’s fair to say you don’t like the movie because it wasn’t like, or didn’t live up to the expectations of the book. No matter how well a movie is done it’s never going to completely translate to anything, movies, stage whatever. As far as it being a movie I thought it was great. Of course the acting is going to be a little cheesy and what have you it’s based on a young adult series AND the guy is a freakin’ vampire! I took the movie for what it was and loved every minute of it, as did the folks in my theater judging from their reactions. Sorry some of you didn’t agree…
