Earlier today we learned that Madonna and Guy Ritchie have been granted a “quickie divorce” from the London High Court after the parties agreed on a settlement concerning assets and child custody. Last night, Guy spent some time with his two sons Rocco and David Banda which shows that he intends to take an active role in their lives despite the fact that he is splitting with Madge:
While I am happy that there will be no nasty divorce for Maddy and Guy, I’m really bummed that their young children now have many years of shuffling back and forth across the Atlantic Ocean to spend time with their parents. I’m sure that both Madonna and Guy will do their best to care for their children and make the shared custody work as best as they can but … the kids are so young … I can’t imagine that it will be easy for either Rocco or David.

It’s so obvious that Rocco hates the paparazzi…which is the complete opposite of his Mom! I see Lola growing up being very bitchy and Rocco more laid back–though he is a Leo, he’ll have a Madonnaesque personality in some form. I just hope David gets the care he needs, as he needs it most.

Poor Rocco, my heart just aches at that photo. People need to stop and realize that poor child’s parents are divorcing. Maybe he’s hiding his face because he’s been crying. Just terrible.
JarEdina, I share Lola’s birthday AND numerology, and if she is true to both, she won’t be bitchy at all.
HOWEVER – Trent, you heard it here first – I predict Lola will have a drug problem. Those who have read brother Christopher’s tell-all know that Madonna has zero tolerance for drugs. And, when you’re Madonna’s kid, the options to shock your mom are pretty limited. What’s she going to do, pose for Playboy? Experiment with bi-sexuality? Not much that Mom hasn’t already done. But oh, drugs would really, really piss Mom off, wouldn’t they?
One more thing bout Lola – if she has a drug problem, it will be a Kate Moss, glamorous kind of drug problem, if there’s such a thing. Point is, I can’t see Lola rolling around on the sidewalk like Amy Winehouse. More like she’ll be a model. She’s certainly pretty enough!
If you are so concerned about M’s children then maybe you shouldn’t be posting pictures of them on your website Trent? I am not hatin’ – but maybe you should think about it…
What is there to think about? My concern is that they’ll be shuffled back and forth across the ocean prolly for the rest of their lives. What has that to do with posting pics?
