Gothy film director Tim Burton is hard at work on a new big screen live-action adaptation of Alice In Wonderland and, of course, Johnny Depp has been cast in a major role. HERE is our first look at Depp in full costume as The Mad Hatter:
As far as Mad Hatters go, I don’t think Depp is as jovial as Disney’s version but looks more menacing than the Batman villain. I think I like this look … it’s deffo very Burton. What do y’all think?

Love love love Johnny Depp…even more when he is working with Tim Burton. I really can’t wait for this, I’ve always loved Alice in Wonderland..I hope they do a good job!
they will either ruin this classic (a la charlie and the chocolate factory) , or it will end up being another burton classic (nightmare before christmas, edward scissorhands)

I think he looks like the love child of Elijah Wood and Carrot Top. This is going to be one freaky movie.
