My niece says his name the same way!!! She is five and thinks his name is Rocka-Bama! I LOVE IT!!! Though she went through a phase of wanting McCain to win since we were all so “mean” and wouldn’t “pick him”, she did eventually decide she liked Rocka-Bama better because he had a “funner” name!! Kids are awesome!

Ironically, the day of the election my 6 year old “voted” at his school for president. I had asked him who he voted for. He said, Ovama! I laughed because that was the day I decided to vote for him too (and we hadn’t discussed the election at all at home prior). I asked him why and he said “I like him, I think he is a very nice man. He will make a good president.” Kids say the darnedest things for sure.

Trent, thank you for always posting about sweet baby (now big girl, ack) Zakiya…it’s the little ones like her (and my girl of course :D) that give me hope for our future!
Also, triple love the pics of you, Sarah and Mark with your postcards (you guys are on the website slideshow too.)
My 3 year old and I went and picked out our postcards yesterday, mailed them, and I put our picture of us holding them in her baby book.
These really are historic times!!
