Despite the fact that P. Diddy excommunicated Aubrey O’Day and D. Woods from the fivesome known as Danity Kane (choosing, very dramatically, to give them the axe on the season finale of the MTV reality TV show Making the Band 4), it appears that Danity Kane will live on … as a trio:

That’s right, y’all … Aundrea Fimbres, Dawn Richard, and Shannon Bex will be performing LIVE at Jet nightclub inside the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV TONIGHT! If any of y’all make it out to the club to see the new and improved Danity Kane, make sure you send in a full report. I want to hear if the girls are able to sink or swim without Aubrey and D. Woods.

these three are the cream of the crop anyhoo- Aubrey was shite and d woods always seemed like she showed up to the wrong party to me. I think these 3 will be amazing together- they are the most talented and most focused & I can’t wait to see what they come up with

I read a blog that Cassie write on her myspace page about joining the group moving forward, eventhough it was against her personal wishes. So it will be DK4… I wonder if the new making the band will explore looking for a 5th member… we shall see

Dawn the one who came up with the name, so it very much still Danity Kane. And I heard it was live in there, and the girls had the crowd going, and nobody even asked about Aubs or D. And it wasn’t a full-fledged performance, but it was still hype. I’m excited, and I know they gone kill it in the future. Same amount of talent, just less drama.
