Daniel Radcliffe Talks Erections On ‘Inside The Actors Studio’

Daniel Radcliffe, who very famously stars as Alan Strang (a character that gets buck nekkid on stage) in the Broadway play Equus is featured in the December 1 episode of Inside the Actors Studio on Bravo. In his interview, host James Lipton brings up the subject of onstage nudity and queries Dan Rad about how comfortable he is being fully nude in front of a live audience on stage on a nightly basis … and then the topic of erections comes up (pardon the pun):
LOL! Best.Answer.Ever. Dan then goes on to talk about the daunting nature of the “emotional nakedness” of the character but, c’mon, how can there be anything more daunting than facing physical nakedness in front of hundreds of people in a cold, pretty well-lit theater on a daily basis? He’s a champ for taking on the role so whole-heartedly and he deffo has my respect. As I mentioned, this ep of Inside the Actors Studio featuring Daniel Radcliffe won’t air on Bravo until December 1 but you can click HERE and HERE to watch clips of Dan talking a bit about the Harry Potter movies to tide you over until the ep airs.

Hearing that interview this morning gave me the best laugh I’ve had in a while – simply hilarious! Can’t wait to see the whole Inside the Actors Studio ep. And, erections notwithstanding (!), he definitely does have some cool things to say.

I am in awe of him. He is only 19 years old, yet he speaks with so much maturity and eloquence. He seems so grounded. I hope he stays that way.
