This is just ridiculous.. I want to throw up in my mouth a little every time I watch an episode of my super sweet sixteen.As a parent I completely understand wanting to give your child everything they can, BUT with these little rich b*tches they do not deserve a single thing. They get mad because their parents “pretend” to not have bought them the 200,000 car they wanted and cuss and call their parents names. They want to dress like they are 26 instead of 16. I am not rich by any means but if it I was my daughter would not get a $200,000 car, my daughter would not dress like a 25 year old street walker, etc. How can a child learn the value of anything when they are busy swinging from their parents coat tails. If her dad ever goes broke this bitch is in for a rude awakening.

i got a car when i turned 16 that i couldnt even drive for almost an entire year and i got my braces off :) ahh the simple things in life.. some people cant even afford one car much less two. giving here two is definitely teachin her all about how to work hard and reap the rewards … NOT.

I find this insanely disgusting, especially considering the amount of people in the world who are starving, who don’t have any place to live, and the huge crisis many many Americans are facing financially.
I know I sound like a bleeding heart, but for fricks sake TWO cars for a 16 year old who is dressed like a twenty year old about to go clubbing? WTF?
Teenagers are growing up way too fast nowadays with a sense of entitlement that they do not deserve.

16 was a BLAST, but nothing like this. I had 3 parties, on with my family (aunts, uncles, cousins), one with my friends at my house, and then I went out to someone else’s house for a big party in my honor. Maybe $300 total for everything. I wouldn’t trade it for ANYTHING!

16th bday are the best, but it seems that they’ve gotten really ridiculous recently. my bday party was just a bunch of girlfriends going into the city for a musical and fancy dinner. and i though that was really fancy and special!

We were living in Hawai’i when I turned 16. Our cats came out of quarantine on my birthday (YAY!) after the required 4 month stay at the time. We also had a family BBQ and went to the beach. I already had my driver’s license, but I got unlimited use of my dad’s used Sentra (with the AM stock radio, SCORE!) and mom’s mini van…buaahaha.

I agree with what you’ve all said above. I was in the South of France for my 16th birthday and was quite happy to have friends and my sister and cousins (who we were on vacation with) with me and we all went to a restaurant to celebrate my 16th and my sister’s 14th. I get so sick of these poor little rich and spoilt offspring being flaunted in the press. I hope that Crystal doesn’t end up like Allegra Versace (annorexic manic depressive) or in rehab by the time she wants Daddy to splurge out for her 18th!
