This is a marketing campaign if ever there was one, meant to make the company and the stars look good and charitable- but how much money will they actually raise for UNICEF through this project- and will they communicate that amount to the public afterwards? Has Rihanna been paid for ‘posing’ (quite a lame affair actually) in the campaign? How much did the party cost? Is this money being deducted from the proceeds they raise? I wonder how many people actually believe that Gucci really wants to help African HIV/AIDS victims.

Madonna’s dress reminds me of Project Runway, season 2 when they had to do the dress out of grass, flowers, etc. and Andre’s lost because it looked like a doormat.

Madonna’s dress is the ulgiest piece of shizz EVAH! Oscar the Grouch meets Marilyn Monroe, and the length and shape are all wrong for her. She’s 50, for gods’sake. Leave the kelly green shag mini dresses to the young starlets, at least they can claim they were drunk. This looks like a stage costume, not fashion.

The shoes rock, though, and if I have those legs at 50, I’ll probably wear inappropriate skirt lengths, too.

AbsoLUTEly they should donate more than 25% – what a half-assed way to contribute to worthwhile cause.
Madonna’s hair looks very fine indeed, I love it. And I agree that particular shade of green is perfect on her, but the dress itself is some freaky, weird kind of Bedrock City-summertime glam getup. Not hot. Not hot at all.
But she is Madge, and so I forgive ;-)
Actually with all 4 of those folks in the same room, I would have had an accident on the floor! Love ‘em all, especially the 3 ladies.

I adore Rihanna. She carries herself fabulously. I too wish that more of the proceeds went to UNICEF. To think that the cost of the actual garment/accessory is sometimes only 40% of usual retail value…you’d think they have more $ to spare. :( One day the world will wake up…
