Britney Spears’s ‘Circus’ Album Artwork Leaks
Pink reader Tori sends in a bunch of photos of the CD booklet artwork for Britney Spears’s new album Circus (which isn’t due for release until December 2). Here are a couple of the pics that will be included in the booklet … including a close-up of Britney from the album’s backcover photo (which we got to see on Friday):
I do like the top photo … but I’m still a bit creeped out by the backcover photo. I had to cut out the scary-ass little clown, tho. I’m having a hard time with him. After the jump, check out a few more photos from the Circus CD booklet …
Yeah, there’s a lot of hardware going on in these pics. It kinda looks like the stylist stole a bunch of tiaras from various children’s beauty pageants and put them together to craft the jewelry for this photoshoot. I gotta be honest … I don’t love these pics … but, as I’ve said before, I’ve never been that impressed with the album artwork from any of Britney’s releases. It’s all about the music, y’all. But, I could be in the minority here … do any of y’all like these photos?

ehhh…im not sure if i like them. they all look like they just photoshopped her face in. i was hoping for something like the fake womanizer cover that came out right when the song did…where she had the whip and stuff. i was expecting more like that.

they’re ok. they look a little bit campy to me but i’m just happy that britney is ok again, so i will buy this album no matter what the artwork is.

i actually liked the album artwork for in the zone…but since when did the artwork really matter for her

could they blur the pix anymore? they are extra cheesy. I still think that there was alot they could do with the circus theme. I have yet to see any.

This looks like a Cher-shoot from her comedy hour in the 70s or something. I don’t hate them, but I liked it better on Cher. they could be doing exponentially cooler stuff with this theme, it’s kind of disappointing. It’s almost like she’s trying too hard to be the good girl again and surgically removing the sass.

I think the top one looks like that trashy chick Kim from the Real Housewives of Atlanta..But I really like the last picture..It’s pretty cute! I think they could have done so much more fun stuff for the Circus theme, though..Remember that circus freak show photo shoot they did a few seasons back in America’s Next Top Model? The feel of those was super cool..Aaaand I just proved I watch way too much reality tv..

I don’t like them at all. They are trying to renew her image not worsen it! I’m really glad shes been doing so well lately, but this is just showing that maybe theres a lot more work to be done, i mean look at her hit albums….this, this is really off…

they could have done something more artistic with all that circus theme, it can be much more exploted. but they end up being really generic.

okay, okay, the albums called “Circus”, the pix r supposed to b campy.
There fun and colorful, just like the circus, i think she looks fierce, and im so excited for this album. Go Brit!

These pix are Low quality so of course they look so boring, they’re ok, not THAT good, but i kinda like them…the *in the zone* booklet was pretty cool, i loved the pics….
OH and the whole album just leaked =(, the good news is that the 2 songs i’ve heard are great….

Yeah Nippy, you have a point but at least the Blackout ones actually LOOKED like her. These ones are just horrid… photographer must be going blind to shoot crappy quality pics like these :-?

The fake corsetry is lame. The lack of anything remotely creative regarding circus iconography is sad, and the choice of blurring and these poses just make it seem like they are trying to hide imperfections in her face and body. She can look so pretty, I don’t know why this design team isn’t doing better work for her.

I agree with the photoshop. it looks like the popped your face on there. the first one doesnt even look like her.

They probably look blurry and not great quality because it looks like someone was taking pictures of something they shouldn’t be and were trying to hurry. Anyways, i like them.

i’m not sure if anyone else has pointed out that her theme for the new album is really similar to christina aguilera’s last album Back To Basics that had a strong circus theme to it as well. i’m not hating on britney, i love the girl, but it seems kinda too close for comfort…
