Yesterday we saw photos of Britney Spears, her father Jamie Spears and sons Sean Preston and Jayden James upon arrival in Louisiana where they met up mama Lynne Spears and big bro Bryan Spears for a little family holiday/reunion. I speculated that Brit Brit might be spending the rest of the month thru Thanksgiving at home in Kentwood, LA but it turns out that that is not the case. BritneySpears.com has been updated with new rehearsal photos (shot in SoCal) and news that Britney will be spending Thanksgiving in Europe because she will be performing on Star Academy in France on November 28. Britney Spears will be celebrating Turkey Day overseas. The singer — who returned home to Kentwood, Louisiana, on Friday with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James — will perform on the French show Star Academy on Nov. 28. “Looks like Britney will be spending her Thanksgiving holiday in Europe!” reads the announcement on BritneySpears.com.
She just keeps chugging right along with this amazing comeback of hers. Clearly, she’s making sure to take things one step at a time but her schedule is filling up fast and she is showing no signs of stopping. I think this visit home to Kentwood will be nice and relaxing for her … which is prolly just what she needs before she heads off to Europe to wow her fans there. In addition to a performance on Star Academy in France, Britters is also scheduled to perform on X-Factor in the UK … then her album will be released on December 2. It’s pretty crazy how fast time is flying by … her new album will be upon us soon. I can’t wait.

but the good news is the the album is ALMOST out, 21 more days to go….
is it only me who thinks that Brit is putting her career in front of her kids? I mean she just now got back into the right mindframe to be around them and has missed many “sane” holidays with her boys and maybe should had taken the rest of the holidays this year to be with them. I know she has to work and all, but given the trublant life she has thrown to these boys, the least she could had done was not give up any holiday time to perform. JMHO.
Rhonda – let’s keep it in perspective – Britney has two boys under 3? Babies have no idea if it’s the holidays!! They will probably only be getting into Christmas now. She has a job that allows her to perform at night AND be a mother. I’ve never heard anyone questioning whether The Dixie Chicks are doing both successfully!!
