Britney Spears Rushes Youngest Son To Hospital
Sad and scary news to report today … Britney Spears’s happy homecoming to Kentwood, LA this weekend was marred by a medical emergency. Britney and the entire Spears clan in Kentwood had to rush her youngest son Jayden James to the hospital yesterday after the little guy suffered, what is being reported as, a “seizure”. At this point, there is no official confirmation of what happened to Jayden nor do we know for sure if he is still in the hospital but the family did made their way to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Centre in McComb, MS Sunday and where there for some bit of time. Here are pictures of Britney’s brother Bryan Spears with Sean Preston and his nanny waiting outside the hospital while the other Spears family members were inside with Jayden:
BRITNEY SPEARS rushed her two-year-old son to hospital after he suffered a suspected seizure yesterday. According to sources in the US, JAYDEN JAMES was taken to an emergency ward after lapsing into a “vague and unresponsive” state during a long-awaited family trip to the singer’s hometown of Kentwood in Louisiana. The entire Spears clan made the 25-mile dash to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Centre, Mississippi, including sister JAMIE LYNN. Doctors were unable to pinpoint the problem straight away and kept the toddler in for overnight observation. Distraught Britney, 26, refused to leave his side and asked for a bed next to him in the ward. Ex-husband KEVIN FEDERLINE is now believed to be making plans to jet out and also be by Jayden’s bedside. Sources say chaos erupted when the toddler suffered a suspected seizure out of the blue, at about 3pm on Sunday. One said: “One minute Britney and her sons were relaxing and enjoying their first visit to Kentwood in months, and the next minute Jayden had fallen ill. “He was vague and unresponsive so Britney dialled an ambulance. But she was told it would take half an hour to arrive, and she was best trying to get Jayden to the hospital herself.” Another added: “They tore off so fast it was incredible.”
This is so sad … I really hope that little JJ is OK and that nothing serious will come of this incident. It’s also sad timing since this is the first time that Britney has been able to visit her hometown in ages and it is Jayden’s first visit to Kentwood, LA ever. It is my sincere hope that the family was just being cautious and that everything will turn out fine for Britney and her family. It would be such a shame for something tragic to happen after she made such strides to to turn her life around.

Yipes! The eldest child of a friend of mine had several seizures as an infant/toddler, but at age 6 she has happily outgrown them. I hope that little guy’s alright – my daughter Megan is just days younger than Jayden, so I kinda have a soft spot for him.

Sooo fucking sad if it true but it might be a family condition bryan britney’s older brother suffered from seizures when he was a baby too

Aw, for anything to befall your child even something as small as a fever, makes your heart standstill as a mother. I can’t imagine what poor Britney is feeling. I hope JJ is ok, or at the very least they find what the source of the incident was.

I interned in a hospital ER and we seen children suffer seizures all the time- apparently, its not as uncommon as you think (which surprised me!). I believe they check for fever, spinal cord meningitis, and other illness. If it was a grand mal seizure, then there might be cause for worry, but if it is a smaller scale seizure, it can be easily treated. I’m not a doctor, so I don’t know for sure, but hopefully he will be fine and dandy in no time at all :) I know what everyone is thinking though, that big or small, its a terrifying experience and I hope that small fry is okay!

When my little brother was a baby everytime he had a fever he would have a seizure. The doctors said its not that uncommon and that kids usually out grow it. Maybe he was just a little stressed from his exciting trip home.

Best wishes to Jayden, Britney, and the whole family. Seizures can be scary, especially when it;s your child having one.
If it was a severe allergic reaction and he went into anaphylactic shock it could easily leave him in an unresponsive state, too. Plenty of people are allergic to peanuts, seafood, bee stings, etc. to the point where even the slightest contact with the allergen can cause a medical emergency.
Whichever it was, I hope he makes a quick recovery!
