Britney Spears Has A Secret
Britney Spears has launched a new widget today where fans can sign up to be the first to know … a secret:
Now, I have *no idea* what the secret could be but in about 2 weeks, we’ll be finding out so I suggest all y’all Britney fans sign up to be alerted when our dear Britney does make her announcement.
Yesterday was a pretty exciting day for overzealous Britney Spears fans … her new album, Circus, which isn’t due for release until December 2 leaked it’s way onto the Internets yesterday afternoon/evening (you may recall that some images from the CD booklet also leaked this weekend). Apparently, someone got a hold of a promo copy of the album and started to distribute the songs one at a time thruout the evening:
Unfortunately, I cannot divulge where these tracks were leaked to but I’ve been getting lots of emails from Pink readers who have the tracks so the songs are out there. I think it’s important to remind y’all that we all still have to buy the album when it comes out on December 2. This album may be some of Brit’s best work ever and she needs to be rewarded with our money ;) As far as I can tell, every single track from the album — including the bonus songs Rock Me In, Phonography and Amnesia — have been leaked. The only songs that have not been leaked (to my knowledge) are Trouble (the US iTunes exclusive bonus track) and Quicksand (the UK iTunes exclusive bonus track). But, again, I urge y’all to save your pennies for December 2 so that we can all buy the album and make Circus debut in the #1 spot on the Billboard album chart. OH — and don’t forget to sign up for the Britney Secret announcement … I know I’m dying to know what it could be.

no they already have a countdown widgit for the album, its about 8 hrs earlier. This is definitely the tour, and she’s gunna announce it!! I hope

I sincerely doubt that “secret” will be the album’s release since we know it’s going to be released.

It’s a shame that the album got leaked, but it’s a Great album, i’m loving the songs, i haven’t heard them all cause i want to save some “surprise” …but overall i think this album is better than blackout, just because she’s not using the “vocoder” , at least not as much as in blackout…and we got Ballads yay!! i told my dad about the leak and he was like “why is that sad?, you can listen to the songs now, and then you’ll buy the album” and i was like “yeahhh but it’ll affect first week sales…duh”
Can’t wait to know what the surprise is, hopefully a tour!!!

I love me some britney but dude, theres some sick songs on there but theres also some really shizzy ones too…Blackout was amazing, this one, not so much!!! But ill deffo support and buy the album and go to the tour and all that!!! GO BRIT!!

I think the big ’secret’ here is a tour, too – ya just gotta know that the next step in the process will be that Britney’s Circus is comin’ to town.
As for ballads on the album (which I haven’t yet heard), I have to admit that I find her broken-heart ballads utterly nauseating. I just can’t stand her voice delivering tunes and melodies like those associated with slow songs or love songs. Cut to me hitting the skip button! I’d rather wash my face with broken glass than hear one of those…
I’ll take something like ‘Toxic’ over the slow ones any day :-)

No one loves Brit more than me but I’m with Kent here … I really hate her ballads — they are just not her forte and are usually very cheesy. That said, I do like “My Baby” on this new album … it’s about her babies and is so cute.

I agree, I think she’s going to announce tour dates… although I think it’s got something to do with the album as well. It’s too coincidential that the secret is being revealed on the same day her album drops! Maybe there are tickets in select cds or something… like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! lol

I feel really bad that her entire album leaked. Its definitely gunna hurt it becomin number one. Plus it just sucks that she really can’t trust anyone. I hope they find out who it was.

No artist can really trust anyone when it comes to thier music getting leaked. every cd these days get leaked and people still manage to put thier cds at #1. the only thing thats gunna hurt her chances at #1 are when people realize the cd isnt that great. i’ll take blackout over this circus wreck anyday.
