Britney Spears Arrives In The UK
Here are a couple pics of Britney Spears as she made her arrival in the UK last night after completing her successful appearance on Star Academy in Paris, France yesterday … behold:

As y’all are WELL aware by now, Britney is performing LIVE on the UK competitive reality program X-Factor tonight and is RUMORED to be making a surprise appearance at G-A-Y nightclub in London afterward. The official G-A-Y website is advertising that tonight is Britney Night at the club but they make no mention that she will actually appear. Whether or not Brit Brit makes an appearance at the club after her appearance on X-Factor, it’s gonna be a hot time in Londontown tonight nonetheless. It’s unclear just how long Britney and her crew will be staying in the UK but we do know that they will make their way to NYC ahead of her live performance on Good Morning America Tuesday morning. And the promo tour just keeps on rolling …

I am pretty sure that she will be arriving in NYC on Sunday sometime. NBC is advertising “a celebrity so big we can’t even tell you” for the tree lighting on the 1st. I really feel like it’s going to be her. It makes too much sense to me. I hope it is her, but even if it’s not, we still have the birthday party to look forward to! Are you gonig to be there Trent?

She was just brilliant on the X Factor. Shame she didnt really get to talk, but her performance was fantastic

ok i love her but she was just good not brilliant,
very cute though. and wtf was that interview? lame.

IMO she was crap. X Factor is supposed to be about real talent, and she mimed the song. Seriously, if she could actually sing, maybe she’d sing live ;) But noo. All she is is over-choreographed dance moves and the poster child for poor mothers who lose their children because their ‘career’ is more important.
She could sing like a screaming cat and you people would still lap it up and think she’s awesome. So I guess she’s going to get the money rolling in through a poor performance that is a total mockery of the meaning of the show she was on.

Nicola, Shut the fuck up.

wow she was amazing on X-Factor!! It’s way better than her last 2 performances, she was really into it and confident!! Loves it!

Ok, she wasn’t brilliant on X Factor and it was WAY obvious that she was lip syncing the song… but I’m willing to give her a break on the count of nerves and the stress behind trying to put herself back out there. It is soul exposing and mighty scary.
We can’t be surprised she mimicked the song, can we?

Nicola~
You are always so negative and cruel. Seriously, I feel nothing but animosity from you in every comment you make. I honestly hope someday that you can conquer whatever’s behind it.

she was FIERCE!
really good…. she is getting back on track!

bleeding ears…of course its was obvious she was lip syncing… thats all shes ever done since she started..i dunno why everyone keeps bringing that up like its something new?
anyways over all…this was the best out of the 3 performances…she was finally doing something, but it wasnt as great as you were all making it seem.
November 29th, 2008 at 7:44 pm
I also don’t see why people are suprised that she was lypsynching…she has done it te past. Many artists from Beyonce to Mariah to Madonna have done it too…so why is she an exception?

STFU haters!
November 29th, 2008 at 9:48 pm
Amen Tal i couldnt say it any better then that.

Britney was singing directly over her studio recorded music. She was not lip synching. I believe they call that correction? Right?
The news at G-A-Y is that Britney held up a sign saying “Sorry I’m Leaving”, or something to that effect because of horrendous crowding at the venue.

Feel so bad for her and the drowd as well, but it couldn’t possibly been safe for her to go on if the club was slammed to the point that people were passing out EVERYWHERE as multiple club go-ers were stating.
Love you Britters! Keep on going! You are looking stronger with each performance.

I heard Snoop Dogg is working on another album on the new season of his Father Hood show on E!
I really hope he does a track with Britney…that would just be Genius!! I will be checking the premiere tomorrow to see!!

i didnt see her on xfactor …i was out on the town instead! but my mum better have recorded it for me lol

Her performance on X Factor was awful, she mimed and was totally out of it, it was if someone told her to go out there and do it..she had no connection with the performance..she did not understand what the host asked her when she had finsihed the performance and instead of commenting on the contestants she started rabbiting on about London…She is obviously still ill and her management ought to protect her..Britney is no star!!

saw her on the x factor last night, she was great! she looked FIT – she’s totally back to her old self.
but i could have done without the scary clown image, i gotta say..

You know I never really care too much about Britney Spears when it came to her music until her last album. I would have never imagined she would be back where she is now compared to where she was a year ago.

umm yeah… Nicole… that is what I was hinting at ; )

…so you can make up your own mind. I’m a fan of hers, but I agree that she has a little way to go yet to be totally well and be able to deliver professional performances.
By contrast, Miley Cyrus, who I’m no fan of, delivered a great performance:

Though she has no voice to speak of, I though she was impressively good…
