You know, in Tinsel Town, you really haven’t reached the level of Hollywood “It” Girldom until you’ve achieved your first wardrobe malfunction. In previous years, wardrobe malfunctions (specifically of the crotch shot variety) seemed like a daily occurrence but this year, there haven’t been that many NSFW moments to be had … until now. AnnaLynne McCord, who stars as the beyotchy Naomi Clark on 90210, accidentally popped out of her top as she tried to make her way from her tralier to the beach set of the show yesterday afternoon. While filming in Long Beach, CA, Miss McCord’s nipple slipped out of her top to say hello to the folks on set:

The very pregs musician/artist M.I.A. is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Spin magazine … showing off her colorful style and her burgeoning baby bump, in fine hipster-ess fashion:

Normally, I’m not a big fan of the crazy-colored lipstick but the colors really work on M.I.A., I think. She’s already so beautiful that I think the vivid colors really compliment the way she looks … normally, I am very unimpressed with hipster chic that tries too hard (multicolored nail polish, ironic ’80’s sunglasses, etc.) but, again, M.I.A. really has a way of makin’ the absurdity work:

I really love these pics … and I’m really happy to know that M.I.A. is not planning on retiring from music. I’m equally thrilled that she is going to be a mommy soon … she’s gonna be a rad mom, for sure. The big screen adaptation of Watchmen won’t hit theaters until March of 2009 but fans of the graphic novel are already chomping at the bit for any new info about the film leading up to its release next Spring. Defamer, ever the industrious sniffer-outer of the nekkidness, noted at the new HD trailer for Watchmen (which debuted at MTV.com last month) offers a quick glimpse of the Dr. Manhattan character — full frontal p33n and all. Fans of the Watchmen graphic novel are well aware that the atomic superhero Dr. Manhattan appears fully nude in the graphic novel … and they can rest assured that the good Doctor’s graphic nekkidness will be on full display when the movie hits theaters next year:

In the film, Dr. Manhattan is played by Billy Crudup but we have no way of knowing if the blue CGI p33n on display in the film is actually based on Billy’s manhood or if it is merely the work of inventive animators … I guess only a few people, ex-girlfriend Claire Danes included, will know for sure. It’s only been a few days since we got word that Paris Hilton and Benji Madden are dunzo and Paris is already going on the record to talk about the couple’s split. Paris was a guest this morning on On Air With Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM here in SoCal this morning and talked at some length about the split, making sure to clarify somethings about the break-up that have been reported erroneously. Last night, Paris spent a second night in a row flying sans her now ex-boyfriend Benji and ended up hanging out with her sister Nicky Hilton instead. Here is a pic of Paris out all by her lonesome last night and my report on her radio interview this morning with Ryan Seacrest:

After some banter about some of the word that Paris has been doing over the past few weeks, Ryan got to the nitty-gritty and asked her if the reports are true — did she and Benji really split up — and she said: “Well, you know, right now we’re just taking a break and um … we, we’re really good friends, we’re very close.” Ryan pressed, So you’re not together? “You know, I love him, he’s such an amazing man, he’s my best friend, he’s been so great to me, so loyal, he’s an incredible person and, um, we’ll always be very close, we’ll see what happens in the future, I’m still in love with him.” Ryan then confessed that, as a friend, he was surprised by the news and didn’t believe the reports when he initially heard them. Then he asked her what happened to cause the split and she responded, “You know, I think right now, we’re better off as friends, we’re both working so much …” and went on to talk about how much work both she and Benji have been doing lately. She went on to deny reports that she dumped him and clarified that this was a decision they made together “as two adults”. She says that rumors that they broke up over Stavros Niarchos are “ridiculous” (explaining that reports of her “hooking-up” with Stavros was just a matter of her smiling and saying hello to someone she hadn’t “seen in a year”). She also clarified that Benji is not a jealous person, that no one cheated, that she never trusted anyone like him and that “there’s no one like him”. She told Ryan that things with Nicole Richie will stay the same, she loves the entire Madden family and refuted claims that Benji was “too controlling”, explaining that he just wanted the best for her (she also revealed that since she started dating him she stopped hanging out with certain people and going to certain places — and blamed those “people” for the false rumors about the break-up). As the interview came to a close, Paris told Ryan that she and Benji still “talk every day”, that they’re still close, that he’s bizzy working on the Good Charlotte remix album, that she is not considering dating anyone else right now because she still has feelings for Benji (dating a new person right now is “the last thing on her mind” and the thought of doing so “grosses her out”). Finally, she revealed to Ryan that she plans to spend New Year’s Eve in Australia hosting a party with her sister Nicky Hilton (a gig she was supposed to host with Benji).

I gotta say, Paris really sounded mature thruout this entire interview (click HERE to hear the interview in full for yourselves). She sounded hopeful that the couple could get back together again but, well, people do break-up for certain reasons … even tho she claims it was all about work, I don’t really believe it. Who knows, mebbe they will get back together again some day … but for now, they’re really officially dunzo.

Yesterday afternoon, MTV hosted a screening preview of their new documentary Britney Spears: For The Record here in SoCal and, I am sad to report, it doesn’t sound like things went off as planned. Firstly, MTV worked with a PR company called 1iota to fill the audience with fans and, apparently, over-booked the venue which could only hold 200 guests … sending out 300 tickets and then cherry-picking the prettiest people to seat inside for the screening — leaving a lot of invited fans outside and pissed. Secondly, Britney Spears showed up to surprise the fans by attending the screening with them (appearing for a taped segment that would be aired with the documentary on November 30) but, according to reports from fans who were at the screening, Britney looked entirely uncomfortable the whole time … and then left before answering any questions from the fans. All in all, it doesn’t sound like the screening event was that much of a success in person … it’ll mos def look pretty flawless once (and if) it airs on TV later on. Regarding the way that some fans were shafted at yesterday’s screening, I’m not really that surprised. These things happen all the time. PR companies tend to over-invite people in order to make sure they have enough people to fill seats AND they do like putting the prettiest people in prime positions, especially if they are filling an audience that will be recorded for TV. Now, about the way Britney acted at the screening … well, this has got me worried. By reading all of the fan reports (posted HERE), it does feel like she didn’t want to be there in the first place and was in no mood to interact with anybody — not a good sign. It is really beginning to sound like she is moving too fast with all of this work on her comeback, which can’t be good for her. If she’s not ready and still presses forward, she risks having another breakdown. At this point, I think it’s far too late for her to call things off completely but I am starting to get worried, especially in light of this new behavior. Regarding the actual documentary itself, despite the fan/Britney drama, it was screened yesterday and People magazine has a review of the 90-minute Britney Spears: For The Record film HERE.

Late last month there were rumors going around that Madonna and Guy Ritchie had reached a divorce settlement (just days after their split was confirmed to the public) and were on track for one of the quickest, cleanest celebrity divorces on record … then two days later we got word from Maddy’s publicist that the rumors were false and that no deal had been struck, leading some to assume that a long, nasty divorce battle laid ahead for the couple. But today, just about one month from the report that no deal had been struck we get word that yes, indeed, a deal has been struck … and furthermore, the High Court of London has granted the couple a quickie divorce! They are almost, entirely and officially dunzo, y’all:

It’s official! (Almost.) Just one month after announcing their split, Madonna and Guy Ritchie were granted a preliminary “quickie divorce” Friday in the High Court of London. According to a document released by the court, 50-year-old Madonna – the petitioner – said in a sworn statement that she is divorcing Ritchie for his “unreasonable behavior.” In a court proceeding that took all of one minute, the judge issued a decree nisi – the first step in the U.K.’s two-stage divorce process – to “Ciccone ML” and “Ritchie GS” and 16 other (non-celebrity) couples. Neither Madonna or her director ex attended the hearing. In fact, even their attorneys skipped the courtroom. It’s known as “quickie divorce” because if there are no disputes in the next six weeks and one day, the couple’s split will become decree absolute. Ritchie, 40, who has been working in London on the set of his new movie Sherlock Holmes, seemed relieved by the speedy resolution. He reportedly told the Daily Mirror late on Thursday, “It was never about money – never about her bloody art collection. I just wanted to settle it and move on.” He added to the paper, “I didn’t raise any objections at any stage until she insisted the children lived permanently in New York.” (According to British press reports, the settlement calls for sons Rocco, 8, and David, 3, to split time between the U.S. and London. Madonna’s 12-year-old daughter Lourdes – whose father is the New York-based Carlos Leon – will live with her mother.) Madonna’s representative in the U.K. declined to comment.

Wow! Even tho the settlement wasn’t reached immediately after announcing their split (which was wholly unreasonable from the start), I am really kinda surprised that the whole matter could be decided upon so quickly. Despite the fact that I can believe that the couple decided not to drag this divorce on and on, I didn’t think the London High Court (or any court) would be able to rule so soon — and with such finality. I can also believe that any disagreements between the couple had more to do with custody of the children rather than money or property. Seriously, this has to be one of the fastest celebrity divorces ever … if you consider the amount of wealth involved in this dissolution of marriage, it’s pretty astronomical that the deal could be stuck so fast. As I said before, what Madonna wants — Madonna gets. If things continue on at this pace, the couple should be completely and totally dunzo by mid-January.
